Topic: Deleteting unwanted securities

to whom it may concern, i want to buy this if i can figure out how to add new symbols to the portfolio and delete the ones in there that i dont need. i checked through the help section and cant figure it out. i want this just to keep track of my stocks in the portfolio. any help will greatly be appreciated. thank you rock

Hello Mr. Rock. - Thank you for your interest in Amateur Invest. - To delete securities, you go into the security window. There you can multi select the securities you do not want - you can do that by holding down the <shift> key and pressing the <arrow down> key. Several lines become selected (blue) that way. Now hit the "Delete" button, and you'll be asked if you whish to delete associated prices also - you should answer yes. -To add new securities, you hit the "Add" button in the security window. Enter a comany name, and enter an "Import id" code. - For US companies the import id is straight forward, eg. Microsoft is MSFT - Now you can add the securities to your portfolio by using the portfolio window. Regards, R. Michael
