If I was considering on entering investing in stocks or to get a better grasp on how a particular stock (example: HSBC?) has been performing for the past 4 years where would I start my research to see if that particular stock is worth investing in? Please Help Thanks! |

To find out if a particular stock is worth investing in, there are a number of factors you need to take into account. Firstly: which kind of an investor are you, short term (high risk) or long term (lower risk). Secondly examine the company, Eg: 1) Does the company have products, that are well known. 2) Has the company performed consistantly well over the past 5-10 years. 3) Does the company have a well known and reputable management. 4) partly fundamental analysis (accounts) - and partly technical analysis (stock price over a certain period). As you can see, there are many things to study before buying (or selling) a stock. In any case you can use Amateur Invest to help you with your decisions. http://www.amateur-invest.com |
