1. Program allows you to delete all securities, but then can't exit as it locks up with a repeated 'database can't be empty' type message.2. Buy stock (add to portfolio) and then create an exact copy of that same security in securities option results in lockup and reinstall being required.Do you offer free-registration to bug identifiers?Regards. It would be nice to have smaller (or the option to make smaller/close) the buttons down the left hand edge of the screen as they eat up quite a bit of screen space for those of us using a lower resolution and large icons.Sorry these aren't critisisms, just suggestions for possible improvements from a new users evaluation.Generally impressed overall.Regards. Hi Rene. One other change you might like to consider, could Graphics, Securities and Portfolio each be made to maximise in the window space on opening rather than scaled.Looks better in smaller screen resolutions.Alternatively perhaps remember the last mode. The password is a bit of a pain as well. Considering that the data is all available if you inspect the invest.dbf files anyway, its only of limited use and an option to disable it would be nice. |

Sorry Rene, not sure if this helpful or a nuisance.Another possible improvement suggestion. When you add information about a stock in the price/info option, why does the scaling change to 0 to peak price rather than lowest to peak price that is shown when no information is added?I'd like to add dividend income indicators to the graphs, but presently it distorts the graph too much by compressing them into a small part of a wide Y-Axis price range.Regards. Clive. |

Ok, now I have investigated, and except for the database error, the findings are mostly development wishes rather than bugs. And some of those wishes are debateable. - I'll take them into consideration again, during a comming release. http://www.amateur-invest.com Personal finance, Money, Banking and portfolio management |
