Sudden Death gets sudden attention in Los Angeles "Beau Brackett, hardworkin' guitarist/vocalist of Sarasota's Sudden Death, called from the Sunset Strip in Los Angeles to say the band is getting signed by a major record company. Record company bigwigs and industry insiders feted Brackett for hours after he was called out in front of a 2,500-person symposium by a Capitol Records vice president, who heralded the production, songwriting, execution, etc. on Sudden Death's new CD "Unpure Burial" as the "great" standard participants needed to strive toward." -- Dawn Scire, The Herald Tribune -------------------------------------The story is quite interesting, Beau tells it well, he called us the same day to let us know what was going on. Something the article didn't mention, at the convention, there were over 200 CDs played that were rejected. The Sudden Death 'Unpure Burial' CD was the 2nd to last one, and also received a standing ovation. His unique experience in LA at the TAXI "Road Rally" is unbelievable. It's a great feeling to know that an awesome band and an awesome studio can really get the attention of the top record labels and to be praised for the quality of music and production of the CD. http://www.atlasrecording.com Atlas Recording & Mastering, Inc. One of the best metal bands you could ask for. I've known them since High School and they were good when they first started. |
