What are you looking for? Torque? Speed? Metal Gears?

Hey Brian, There are alot of good servos out there. First, like Superman said, you need to decide what you want. The easiest way to decide is to know where you are going to put it. And what you are going to put it in. I wouldn't use an JR 8411 High Torque in an electric buggy. But I'll definitely use it in a 1/8th gas buggy. That's the first hurdle then you can decide which is best for your car/buggy/truck.=)

Sounds to me like you already know which one to get. Just smack the pit guy next time if he spills anymore fuel.

Hmmm I don't think this is a good question for me. Everyone seems to want those cheap (not really cheap, but price wise) Hitec servo's. Me, I use Airtronics 94257/94357 for my cars. Sure it costs $100. But it's bloody fast and has plenty of torque. Plus I can always slow them down (for what god forsaken reason I don't know) with my M8. Of course some of the Hitecs would be an alternate cheaper choice. Is it the 925's? Or the cheaper 625's. Why not just buy what you had before? Sounds like a decent one to me.

he shouldn't b/c .19 at 6volts is slow as heck....escpecially since it doesn't run at 6 but the first few minutes anyhow and runs at 4.8 volts. Airtronics are great (never used one) I use the hitec digitals, 5945 and 5925 in my 1/8 and 925 mg in xxxnt , I love em and don't think I will stray from them, even if one does go out on me send it back and in less than 2 weeks good as new and I have sen PLENTY of other servos go out on people INCLUDING airtronincs. So just pick something and can't go wrong with Air or Hitec!

I got an OLD 9301 Futaba in my T3 and other than replacing the gears ONCE in 5 years,, never a problem with it. I got it used 5 years ago,, not really sure how old it is,,,,

You can also try a KO digital servo. You're gonna spend at least $100 for one. But they are great. Might be my next investment for my Touring Car. Besides a new motor :)
