For all Californian hunters, this is the thread to converse about your hunt. Talk about the parks, the artwork, the crazy crabs. Feel free to leave comments about the hunt in general, give me ideas to make future hunts even better. If have a specific question to ask, to report found art, or send pictures of your hunting, me please email me at: william.hessian@gmail.com |

if you do it agin you shoudl do one at every park in the city--- this was really hard-- we hit 4 parks today thinking we knew for sure where they were and couldn't find any!- we went to wimbeldon, paulerino, wakeham and baleric Whaty a bummer if they were there and we just couldn't find them! but we wstill had fun looking |

sorry to hear that Lala. People in Portland had 98 parks to look through to find 10 squirrel paintings. Finding the correct park is one of the challenges. You were at one of the correct parks during your search. I am updating the page right now. thanks for the comments! |

The paularino park was one of the hardest of all crabs. And first to be found by a teddy bear (congrats Bandit the bear). great job to all the finders. The Small wood park (clue 1 & 11) was the highest up, although Tewinkle was a close second. The winners carrie & Roger for Mesa Verde were the earliest (or latest) time to find a crab at 2:40 am. While Clay & PJ win the award for FIRST to find. The Stevenson family found a total of 4 crabs on the first day, which is by far the most anyone has found on the first day...I am very curious to know which four they found! I am still confirming the last few crabs, and will probably post the EASY clues just to make sure they have been found. Thanks to everyone. Please come see us painting at Tewinkle today from 3-6pm. I have a few free little drawings to give out, and I am also selling my bearded bunnies. It has been great meeting everyone so far! And the pictures you have all been sending in have been excellent! Also make sure to check back to me website in a few weeks to see the costa Mesa Art Video. featuring YOU. |

Also, if you enjoyed the hunt, please write a small letter to the newspaper or city of costa mesa and see if we can do this again. It really only takes a few people speaking up to be able to do this again in Costa Mesa. Because I sure would like to do it again! |
