I'm from St. louis park (william already knows me for I am a finder of the heart painting in the St louis park hunt and I was wondering is there going to be more than one painting per park. bye

Evan,
Good to see you are going to be
involved in the Minneapolis art hunt!
There is only going to be one artwork
per park.
Good luck.
williamhessian posted 10/17/08 5:31 AM
one thing to remember with an art hunt
this large I will be posting the visual
clues in waves periodically through the
day. 35 clues each day, one per artwork
per day. Starting, as the website
notes, with the hard clues and working
towards the easy clues on sunday. I
will also be updating every few hours
which octopus have been reported found,
so checking the website periodically
during the weekend will help your
chances. Since you will be seeing new
clues, and learning which works to no
longer search for.
williamhessian posted 10/17/08 8:42 PM
Visual clues are flooding the website.
They will continue to appear until all
35 hard clues are posted. One artwork
has been found at Lake Calhoun,
congrats to Becky Harmon.

hey william give me an email showing the clues to our hunt you know the ones forthe circle only
williamhessian posted 10/19/08 4:30 PM
the next update from me will happen
right around 3pm, this update will
simply update what has been found and
where.
then i take off to Loring Park to
hopefully meet many of you from 4-6pm.
and when I am done there, at 7pm I will
reveal the parks of each of the
remaining octopi, which along with the
last clue should be enough to discover
all hidden art.
for those that cannot pick up prizes at
Loring Park today, please email me and
we can coordinate how to pick up your
prize.

im off to loring park from 4-6pm. come
by and see me, claim your prize and
draw a picture.
if you have found a spot where art
SHOULD be, and it is gone, please also
email me so i can update the website.
remember 7pm tonight I will posting the
actual parks of all unfound artworks.
thanks to everyone who has been
emailing me about the hunt and sending
pictures. I will also be posting more

Elliot Park is gone
williamhessian posted 10/20/08 8:29 PM
thanks to everyone who joined the hunt
there are still a few unfound or unclaimed octopi out there. however, i suspect most of them are gone.
if anyone has found octopi missing from their hidden location please let me know so I can update the website and keep people from going out to look for an already found artwork.
Given the success of some of you (who found multiple locations of artwork a few minutes too late) I am suprised any artworks are left. Steven Zaun was smart and grabbed three friends and each one found an artwork since sunday.
If you enjoyed the hunt and would like me to perform another one in the future, please let the media know, WCCO, Star Tribune (who didnt cover the event), City Pages (who did), Sun Sailor, and any other news media you use.
The hardest part of having one of these art hunts is convincing the media that people will want to be involved. So any help in this regard would be much appreicated.
Make sure to bookmark my website and check back often for news of more art hunts in Minnesota and across America.
William

So, I just went looking for the Mississipi park octopus. I assume that is North Mississippi Park is the park as "Mississippi Park" isn't found on maps. Am I to assume that it was found but not confirmed?
william posted 10/23/08 5:29 AM
tucker,
yes, you are right. I forgot to add
unclaimed to the last remainging few. I
am doing that now. I'm spending these
few days mailing out all the prizes.
and still waiting to hear from the few
unclaimed artworks.
how long should i give them?
