I'm trying to get the REAL story on these motors. When was the problem solved if ever? |

Dave, The Cat 3126's had several different problems. Caterpillar spent a lot of time and money trying (and mostly succeding) to correct the problems, however some units did not get the upgrades and some had FEPS (soft & porius) blocks that did not get replaced. What is the serial numbers of the units in question? Your cat Dealer can give you warranty and upgrade history to help you determine what was done and how you should proceed. |
