I wanted to let the Brothers of Metal know that Carrie is now back at home as of 1:00 PM, Friday, January 25th. Her surgery was a great success, and she is currently under the influence of many chemical substances which ease any possible pain (and also make her sleepy!). Carrie would like for me to say "THANK YOU" to Dillon for the awesome card. Dillon - that was totally fucking cool of you. We took the card to the hospital with us, and I put it on her nightstand. She asked "what does Blessed Be mean?"....and I tried to change the subject, or pawn off a half-ass description as to not alarm her before her surgery was to begin. I stayed all day with her yesterday, and spent the night with her. I occupied my time by re-reading my favorite parts of "The Rise of the Bloody Satanic Underground - Lord's of Chaos"...She was too tired and groggy to say, "God-Damnit!!! Put that god damn book down!!"....So, my stay at the hospital worked quite well, as I was able to re-live the fondest memories of my favorite book in peace. Thanks to Jeff and all other Brothers of Metal who called and wished her well. Also, Thank you to Miller for dedicating part of your website to her!! You bastards truly kick some ass! |
