Drug dogs are in SCHOOLS because TEENAGERS are the ones using drugs in society. What don't you people get about that? |

Think so Tannana? Pretty big assumption if you ask me. Maybe I should say "presumption" because you're acting as judge and jury before you've gathered the facts. The Austin Police Department had a simalar presumption when they were asked by minorities why they searched so many cars owned by blacks and hispanics compared the vehicles owned by whites. Although never spoken publicly, the assumption was that minorities are more likely to be carrying drugs are weapons in their cars. An independent agency looked over the records from 3 major Texas cities and found that hispanics were guilty of having contraband in their cars 12% of the time, blacks 14%. The big shock was that 24% of the time whites were found with contraband in their vehicles when searched. It's all in the records, it's in the news, look it up. Red faced, the local authorities are rethinking their position on roadside searches. How did YOU do with your presumption? Sorry, you failed. Drugs are much more prevalent in the 19 to 24 year old age group. In other words, college age. So...why don't take the drug dogs to Florida State, Texas A&M or Clemson and see how long they let you stay on campus. They would run you out of town on a rail. It's time you wake up and realize that the public schools are being victimized unfairly. It's a violation of rights that cannot be denied. |
