Well, I wanted to know what the line up of openings are for tenor trombone in the near future? Thanks! |

Kim, The tenor trombone situation at Curtis has become a little different after the process this year. There is a very good possibility that there will not be an audition for a tenor trombone spot until the spring of 2006 or even possibly 2007. I know that sounds strange, but if everyone in the section for this upcoming year decides to stay for their full four years of education, there won't be a tenor spot available for three more years. So, unless someone in the section wins a position with an orchestra, it might be a while. There will most likely be a bass trombone opening next year.
