Just debating on if I should say yes to some guy who wants me to sing with him playing acoustic guitar. I didn't think I was that great of a singer. OF COURSE you should do it. As Joe Lynn Turner once said, "It doesn't matter if you like my song, as long as you can hear me sing" Point being, "great" is a very relative term. If you enjoy it, it's great no matter what other people think. I'm not a very good guitar player, but I love playing and do whenever I get the chance. Okay, here's the thing. First and foremost, I have to think about what is best for my kids. They are and will always be my number one priority. Second, I would not hesistate if the guy didn't use a line. Which he did. "I just looked at you and every square inch of you scream woman." He did add later, after I mentioned that I have a boyfriend, that his interest is purely musical. On the other hand, I would kick myself if I didn't at least give it a go. Btw, this is the third offer I've had to front a band. |

The reason for that - everyone hates the pop up ads. I've gotten a bunch of emails from regulars (and former regulars) attesting to that. Truthfully, I do too. Hell, I don't even spend that much time here. Unfortunately, since I don't write the code for the message board (or have any influence on the host's policies regarding ads), I can't control that. Since I'm already coughing up enough just to keep FJ.com running, I didn't want to buy an ad-free message board in addition. Frankly, I don't have the time or resources to code a message board, too. But hey, if anyone out there wants to either host this board (you can sell banner ads if you want, just no pop-ups) or knows of a place that'll provide a similar service, let me know. http://www.famousjames.com Useless.
