Too funny... But you know, they're playing at the Roadhouse tonight, so I'm gonna give 'em another chance. Hopefully a decent stage and a professional sound crew will make the difference this time.

And I'm REALLY liking the Kings' prospects for next year - 7 year deal for Bibby, and they got another big guy to work under Vlade. If he can put on some weight, he might even be able to guard Shaq. (well, as close as anyone can come to guarding that guy)

While we are on the topic of cover/tribute bands, I just saw one of the best cover bands in Pittsburgh. Stainless just came on the Pittsburgh scene about March this year. They cover all 80s metal. They were the flashy clothes. They got groupies. They got that rock n roll attitude. Anybody who lives in South Western PA and enjoys metal music, see a Stainless show. They won't disappoint you. James, I'm sure you would enjoy their show if were here. At least you can check out their website.

Checked out Stainless... I think that'd be a show I'd go see. Hell, that'd be a show I'd CREATE if I could find anyone else here who'd do it...

And by the way, Mr. Brownstone was MUCH better at the Roadhouse.

James, you know I'm down for the 80's tribute band. Lemme know when band practice is and we'll hook it up.....I've been playin' around with names for our group.......I was thinkin' like maybe "Holy Muffdiver" and pornographic tribut to the works of Ronnie James Dio.......or maybe a group called "Yngwie Shlongsteen" we could cover "I am a Viking" and alter the lyrics a bit....I am a Viking, I have the biggest dick of all........ Sounds like a hit!

James,
I told Dr. Tommy Love of your site and that I put their link here. All he could say was "Cool." Which is getting a lot out of Dr. Love. Here comes a shameless plug. For everybody in SW PA, Stainless will be playing at Nick's Fat City on E. Carson St. in the South Side on Tuesday Sept. 17, 2002. Skydd has informed me that the manager there doesn't think that Stainless is able to get 20 people in the place. Bring your friends and tell them to bring their friends. 80s metal madness takes over at 9:30pm. Plus they will be shooting a video!
