How many lbs of meat average do you get from each bird? Is there a taste difference between the 3 birds? |

Good question. There is a difference but it is slight. Quail are less than a pound.. Most meat is about 3 pounds on a BIG Pheasant, but 1 pound would be average for Pheasant, 3/4 pound for chukar and 1/4 pound for a quail. |
