What do you think of the policies of the People for the Ethical Treatment of Animals who are trying to get the Boy Scouts to drop the fishing merit badge and the fisheries management merit badge.

I think some people just have too much time on their hands. I find it interesting that people in many countries have more to worry about, like day to day survival and their own children's welfare, rather than whether fish and animals are treated "humanely".

PETA is little more than a bunch of whacked-out bleeding hearts. Their attention toward trying to force groups historically focused on father-son type fishing and hunting and getting them to relinquish those traditions instead of fighting the commercial aspects of those is just mind boggling. They euthanize thousands of animals every year, feel it is okay to go to public schools and show children videos of morbid slaughterhouse activities and animals being euthanized and attack people who wear fur coats or hats but think it is grand to give those same items to less fortunate people who need coats. They are hypocrites and liars who typically resort to underhanded means to accomplish their ineffective shock tactics but cry the loudest when they are treated like the terrorists they are. Sorry you asked? =)
