The three other teams almost had a free lunch for this PFS!! 2 of the most important players for the Fat Tribe almost "bought the farm" during a recent duck hunting outing. Luckily we persevered, just so that we can BRING THE THUNDER in Iowa. It is truely going to be an AWESOME story for the campfire!!! Is anyone else going to be around on Friday morning? Mitch and I will be arriving WAY to early on Friday....like around 4-5am. Let us know, we will be PRE-FISHING!!! Cant wait boyz!! |

Is Dick Cheney going to be a part of this story?!?! Or did you go hunting with "ol' hook hand" (not ol' hook ass). Speaking of ol' hook ass, we should be down there by late morning. No idea where we are going, but I suppose you'll be chasing stocking trucks like last year in Erie!! |

hey matt, glad you guys survived so you'll still be able to cook the victory dinner for the BLT team! am looking forward to the good food and good stories, for sure... and as Tim eluded to, we will be there prefishing on Friday, so maybe see you guys around then! B |

Geeze B, go to a foreign country and forget english or what?!? It's "Allude" Elude is what the PFS '06 title is going to do to all but the BLT's. By the way, did you get that special PFS benediction from the Pope while you were there? |

haha! bon giorno, redhat! (that is the only italian word i know) thanks for catching the blatant vocabular blasphemy. i don't think we'll need to rely on special benedictions to win this one, but we did see the pope give his public address. very cool. i should have brought the fly rod along for the time we were in venice, or at least a rod to troll with behind the water ferries in the grand canal. |

Gee - Gerry - we get it - thanks for letting us know!! He is so happy to get away he jumped right into the "Spirit of the Northwoods" and offered himself as dessert!! And lieke Brennon's gramarical error above - it should read "I will be dessert". So the Red Hat's will take Smokin' Tahoes (Escapes?) to school, have team Sershen for lunch, Fat Tribe for dinner (Skinny Mitch is just an appetizer) and Gerry for dessert. |

Ahh Heath... Just remember that with more Team Members, it's gonna be tougher to post big numbers with the scoring system. That "Alternative Lifestyle Colored" fly of yours is gonna have a tough time on those Republican trout down in IA. They don't take kindly to that kind of thing. Everyone remember your blaze orange. Looks like the SMOKIN' TAHOE will truly be the dark side with only MYSELF able to attend this year. Hmm...who's caught the most fish for the last 2 or 3 years? :P Without all those loser teammates of mine (JK) dragin' me down, consider it IN THE BAG for the SMOKIN' TAHOE! Might as well just stay back at camp and cook vs. freeze your butts off on the water (all for naught)! EVERYONE is fair game when you're a Smokin' Tahoe! no worries, red. i've got the flapper b had ready to go! new strategy for the team...i say we get renee on our side to keep matt "occupied" for the day. or, perhaps have redhat converse with the deer get them to keep matt's car "occupied". or, matt's fishing gear could happen to end up missing the day of the tournament?? no, team blt is too ethical for these kinds of tactics.... |
