here are the pics. They aren't great (camera phone);in fact, they aren't even good; in fact, they aren't even crappy. The 4th one was an awesome male that I wish I got a better shot. The 6th pic is of the monster hen. I took pics of 4 of the 5. One was an 'old general' that was too beat up for pictures. This was on the Pike, in and around Petrifying Springs, between 6:30 and 9:30 this morning. Water height: 2.4 feet, good visibility, lots of suckers (caught 3), pre-rain. I never caught more than 3 fish in a day and usually only catch 1 or 0. So I had a great day and am really happy that pratice keeps paying off. Mike |

Cool, thanks! I've been drooling all week. Root, Pike, WI Superior tribs opening this weekend, North Shore opening up and here's me - working like a sap and unable to go fish until maybe next week at the latest.... Red Hat |
