Hi, I work for BTCV Cymru (what was formerly known as the British Trust for Conservation Volunteers)in a partnership project with Neath Port Talbot Borough Council called "Mentro Allan" (Welsh for Venture Out). The objective of the project is to engage local sedentary young people aged 11-25 in outdoor physical activity whilst cultivating an awareness and understanding of the natural environment around us. The type of activity engaged in so far, amongst other things, includes the construction and erection of species specific bird nest boxes and the building of artificial otter holts. The official launch of the project is taking place at Margam Park on Wednesday the 19th of March, 10am until 2pm. There will be a range of environmentally and outdoor activity based stalls and activities on offer at the launch. I would like to discuss with the Bader group the possability of one of the projects groups could assist with any practical conservation work tasks in the future. Perhaps also the group could contact me with regards to attending the project launch with a display promoting the groups aims and objectives.Thankyou
