My question pertains to the genetic testing referred to by several contributors to these discussion. If you are indeed interested in the truth, please post your references in the academically recognized fashion in this forum, the ones you have loosely alluded to. What studies, exactly, are you referring to? Please respond to this inquiry in such a way as to enable any interested party to review your references for themselves. If you are indeed interested in the truth. Otherwise you are certainly lacking in any credibility, which is your criticism of these other opinions. Bear in mind, Judah is one of 12 tribes. The tribes of Judah and part of the tribe of Benjamin remained in the regions of Judah. The other 10 tribes moved to the northern kingdon and were taken into captivity to the north. Later, The babylonians took the gene pool of the descendants of Judah and 1/2 of those of Benjamin into capitivity to the south. Would not the genetic makeup of the lost tribes of the northern kingdom differ from those of Judah? The term Jew is properly applied to the descendants of the tribe of Judah. The term Isrealite applys to all the tribes,descendants of the progenitor Jacob/Isreal. Is there ANYONE more interested in researching the truth than in defending their egoistic point of view who is capable of responding to this?
