Ok, well, you know that generally in Mississippi, rednecks don't listen to gangster rap, and your black neighbors won't be listening to Danzig or George Jones any time soon.
At least that's what I thought 'til Christopher and myself pulled up to a 70 something Impala this morning at a red light. It had a John Spencer Blues Explosion sticker on the bumper. It also was slathered with Misfits paraphernalia.
Then I noticed that the occupants of the car were "gangster wear our pants low to the ground and keep your jacket and beanie hats on even when it's 99 degrees F outside year-round, newport cigarette hanging from lips" kind of fellows.
You be the judge. A race-transcending music lover, or they bought the car from someone else.
DISCUSS!
I'm still very confused.

Maybe they "borrowed" the car.

This isn't the first time this has happened. I met the drummer from a KISS cover band, and he said paint covered it up. He also liked Dale Earnhardt and knew more about country music that his KKK-affiliated supervisor.
It's like every now and then a spatial vortex opens up, and out pops someone marching to the beat of like a completely different drummer.
