I saw Lord of the Rings this weekend. I saw it with friends and wouldn't have chosen to see it on my own. Man, was it painstakingly long. I couldn't wait to get out of the theater. Did anyone else see it? |

Thank God. I saw it with a group that thought it was the next "Citizen Kane". I am like - "WTF?" I read the books and was not impressed with the movie. Kinda like Lethal Weapon meets The Endless Story. Oh and yes it was incredibly long. http://www.coolhomepages.com/ A web page about web pages. |

Near the end (during the last battle), I heard a horn blow and was hoping that it was a bus to take the actors back to their trailers and finally end the thing. But unfortunately, it was just one of the guys blowing some sort of battle horn. That same guy was lucky soon after. He got killed and for his funeral his body was sent over the waterfall... therefore he got to skip the last 15 minutes of the movie and get home in time to catch The Weakest Link. |
