As a kid I remember an annual visit by my grandmother's sister Mary and haer husband, my Uncle Billy Shields. Does anybody know if I still have any family in Milngavie through this connection. I remember that Mary had one lens of her specs blacked out and that Billy used to cut up his pipe tobacco with a penknife and that they once took me as a 5 year old to a place called, I think, lennie/Lenny falls?thanks - you live in a lovely place.Dave |
