I would like any information about the descendants of Thomas and Isabella Bryce who moved to Milngarvie around 1894-96. At the time of the 1901 census they had children listed as John, Bessie, Isabella, Agnes, and James.Thomas was a master baker whose business was in what was then Clober Crescent and is now called Station St. Thomas was probably in partnership with his brother James Bryce who relocated to Dublin in 1896. When I visited Milnegarvie in 2003 I saw that there was a James Bryce listed on the war memorial. If anyone can tell me anything about the decendants of Thomas Bryce or who to contact I would be very appreciative. Thomas bryce was born in Krkintilloch, Dumbartinshire |

Hello Judy, Have you tried RootsChat? It's a great family history site where the members, almost 50,000 of them help each other and sometimes share information when researching the same family. By the way, did the war memorial just give a list of names or did it mention the regiments too?Christopher http://www.rootschat.com Family History |
