I have had SVT and mvp for a while now. My mvp readings were a 2.8 or so. About 2 years ago I went in to the local hospital for the echo and it was a 9.2. I was told I would need open heart surgery. I demanded a second opinion and went into the city to get it done and once again the results were my usual. Last week I went in to the local hospital to get my usual once a year echo again and I got the results just yesterday that I was a 5.2. I was very upset again and demanded a second opinion. I told my new cardiologist that I have been a 2.8 to a 3 for years and I am tired of these local machines giving me horrible readings. I am aware reading s can go a notch or two up or down but mine are of an extreme degrees. I am scheduled once again to do another echo in the city. I have been feeling funny in the heart area lately but Im hoping its stress related. I want to know has this happened to people? Having different readings?
