Just checked out the link: interesting... For anyone who's currently waiting for news re the DVD set that I have been putting together, there should be an announcement soon... (Oh, and the quality of my stuff will be just a bit better than that in the set linked to - and almost no logos...! ;-) ) Peter |

Does anyone know if Peter is still working on making those DVDs? I would do just about *anything* to get the whole season, but I tried to e-mail him and it didn't go through! |

It's been far too long since I posted on this subject... I do still intend to put together a complete set of N&A DVDs. The last many months have been hectic, what with changing jobs and many other things getting in the way of working on the DVDs. To be honest, I'm still hoping that Paramount will get round to releasing a proper set (so many other series get released these days that this really should get a go; maybe the upcoming release of Moonlighting will prompt a rethink of this...). Anyway, I'm (sadly) largely in the same situation that I was all those months ago, although I want to re-encode the episodes that I have, to make use of some of the features of the latest version of the MPEG2 encoder that I now have. I was talking to another reader of the forums about having the discs playtested (to check on audio synch, chapter positions, etc.), but this never really seemed to happen. If someone is prepared to do this (watch a whole season of N&A - what a hardship! ;-) ), then that would probably be enough of a prompt for me to get going on this project again... Any offers? Oh, and apologies re the e-mail - I changed ISP and clearly managed to rather lose touch with some people. The e-mail address per this message will work just fine... Cheers, Peter |

Oh, and something else: I'm *still* trying to get hold of decent copies of some of the latest episodes (to digitise and include in the DVD set), as well as any copy of ep 9 (By the Light of the Moon) - please help! |

I'd be more then happy to view the DVDs. Though I'm in Australia... You know it's too bad I don't have pay tv... Fox8 have been continious repeating Now and Again for the last couple of months Monday to Friday. |

Hi Chris! If there's any chance you could help with getting hold of good copies (something better than VHS if possible) of the episode or so that I'm missing (as mentioned before), that would be great... I'm expecting that I will start to have the time to put together the DVDs shortly, after which I will need someone to test them out - if you are interested in doing this, that would be great. Let me know. Cheers, Peter |

Wait a minute - you mean that Fox8 is on pay TV? Well, there's always a hope that somebody else is reading this that does have access, I suppose... |

Michael, Good to hear from you again... Would be most grateful to get hold of copies of the episodes I don't have decent (or, indeed, any) copies of, as ever. As a note, I have now started re-encoding the episodes that I have into MPEG2 - it's nice to have 400GB of hard drive space to fill...! If things go well, I expect to have revised draft versions of my DVDs before too long... Cheers, Peter |
