Immediately after it, I got online to see if I could find more info on this new (for us!) show!! I couldn't believe it when the FIRST site I come across proclaims on its front page that there are two campaigns to GET THE SHOW BACK ON!!!!! From what I saw tonight the show clearly has lots of potential, an interesting mix of scifi and humanism, I can't help but think of another show that got abruptly cancelled, Dark Skies!! Wasn't Eric Close in that one too?? What a run he's having.... Well, from at least ONE viewer in Oz, I hope this show IS picked up by someone else, it looks like it could be a good one. http://leeming.cjb.net

I'm with you on Channel 10 though, what I'm really waiting for is the ads which'll say the US's award winning show.... no one will tell Joe Public it gets axed at the end of season one ;) Hopefully MORE Aussies will get on the bandwagon (give it a few weeks for more episodes to start playing) and convince them that overseas sales are worth something to them too!! http://leeming.cjb.net

Channel 10 just aired the second episode and I can't wait for the double next week! Heaps of my friendz are into the show too. Does anybody know what can be done to get the show running on?

I Now and Again .. is truly a one in a millon show ... .. no fancy cgi ... no big explosions .. just some real people :-) in some real situations (or as close u can get in this sort of thing). I really enjoyed the fact that the show centred not on his powers but his family and on how his transformation effected the relationship between them. I just hope the rest of the world can join together and speak out in one voice and force cbs to finally standup and give us what we want ........ now and again.... End transmission.... Undefined User

Marie	posted 10/29/00 2:46 AM       I am another fan who is upset about CBS--the same network that cancelled Eric Close's other series, The Magnificent Seven--two years in a row. I think CBS is a lost cause--I for one plan not to watch any of that network's new series. I hate getting a great new show, getting really attached to the characters, then having the whole thing canned. I miss The Pretender too, but at least TNT is giving us reruns, from the start, and movies...maybe TNT would be interested in Now and Again...

Nothing but a sheet to cover the bits that would make it lewd. Anyone know if the theme song is a real song? I know the premier show had the current theme mixed with Janet's Don't Know What You Got (til its gone)

Now that this beloved series is about to end here, I'm sure more people will be willing to write to protest the shows cancellation. ADDICTED to Now & Again okay, well, I didn't see the first episodes, but when I saw about the 6th I had to watch more! I'm just so addicted (more so to Eric Close *droooool*) Anyway, I really wish that it will come back again, but it probably will next season, seeing it was only the season finale before. Could some-one please tell me what happened in the first episodes? (If you want to waste your time on me) I'm absessed! I've taped the episodes, downloaded the theme songs, printed out pictures of Eric Close (of course) soo... yeah bye!

Trez	posted 12/7/00 1:14 PM       I also am a huge fan of Now and Again, also because of Eric. The first few episodes were fantastic. They had a great combination of tension between the doc and Michael, on one hand there was resentment and on the other there was this awakening like fasination with everything around. I wasn't aware that the show was axed until five episodes before the final. It would be devastating to think it wont ever come back on again after the cliff hanger that they left us with. How could they expect us not to complain about it.
ben	posted 6/7/01 5:10 PM     man this really sucks i got into now and then hard and was waiting for it to return this year to find out what happend now that mr wiseman is on the run with his family only to be dissapointed finding out the show wont be coming back!!!!!!! why is it that good shows are taken off tv and crap like 90210 get a never ending life span, the same stuff happened with farscape here in australia on channle 9 they started showing it, i got into it, they took it off ! now i buy the series on dvd from the uk, even though the show is made here in sydney i have to purchase from overseas why are good things taken away???.

I came to this site wondering when the hell I was going to get to see the show again... like everyone else here, I got hooked on the show and I've been sitting, waiting patiently, wondering when it was going to return... I AM DEVASTATED!!!! HOW COULD YOU DO THIS.....?

Why is that good shows such as NaA, Farscape, Roswell and Buffy either get taken off the air or are put in really late time slots, while earlier times are bombarded by endless american sitcoms that are all essentially the same. Are these Tv execs trying to say that anything that doesn't conform with what the majority wants don't deserve to be shown? Why can't they listen to a vocal minority that is saying something important like get NaA back on?

Being a studen t at the time, I caught the shows even though they were on at about 2 in the morning!! Now they've started showing them again, and again, they're on at 2 a.m. But now I work, so I miss them. I wish CBS, or someone, would start making the show again. Oh, and I wish they'd release it on DVD too!
