I just read about this senior citizen's singing group, who have a documentary coming out soon about their work (thanks "The Week", a great little weekly that takes no political stance and reports the news as it happened). This week's volume has many great stories including this one linked here and a dog born without front legs and hops and walks! The dog's name is Faith and there's a book out on the dog and her family. My 89 year old mom loves this magazine and sent me a year's subscription as a gift :). The story of Young@Heart is GREAT! This in today's issue: "For more than two decades, the senior citizens' chorus "Young@Heart has toured the U.S. and Europe with an unusual act. The Northhampton, Mass.,group belts out rock classics such as "I Wanna Be Sedated", "Stairway To Heaven" and other songs not typically associated with a singing group whose youngest member is 73. Now they are subjects of a namesake documentary that is set up to open nationally this month. "People come up to me after the show," said member Jan St. Laurence, 80 and say, "I'm not afraid to grow older". If you enjoy, check out the group singing in a prison yard to the inmates, right after learning about one of the member's death. They sing a Dylan song and 10 to 1, you'll choke up. This is the link:

Why are these people exploiting old people? There's no joy in making laughing stocks of old people. Thats not funny.

I see you're still a few sandwiches short of picnic. No Cliff, these seniors formed this group themselves. They enjoy the songs they sing, are inspirational, hence the documentary and like their name says, they're young at heart, unlike yourself. Keep standing near the precipice. Here's Faith as I carry on exploiting deformed dogs:

I think Senator Robert Byrd needs to leave politics and join the young@heart but I don't think he could keep up with them.

Just because some people formed a group by them selfs doesn't mean they are being exploited. They are either being exploited or they are being pampered. Somebody has to bus them around and those are the ones that are exploiting them. Probably for money or other favors.

lmao Cliff! You can be so ridiculous. I can't figure out if you're really smart and hide it well or really stupid and prove it.

I am reaaly smart but it's hard to tell if you aren't as smart as me. If you don't speak the language you can't understand.

I think the title of this post is YOUNG@ HEART. What is so hard to under stand about that subject? Cliff went way out in left field with this one.
If old people made it up then why is there a problem? (I am speaking of old people like I am not there yet..lol)
