Author Topic:   Clyde, Are You Around(?)& Inquiry on MS Press Story
Goat-Roper posted 4/29/08 3:26 AM
Clyde:
1.) Are you ok and still around?
2.) I find myself confused over the lead story in today's MS Press with pix which preps readers about a peace pipe being offered to Jean Baptiste LeMoyne Sieur de Bienville by the American Indians but there wasn't an Indian in site. Isn't this key to the story? Was there an Indian or was he in another dimension and didn't make the photo op?
3.) I'm puzzled on reading further about the French mayor Monsiuer Louant who also came to honor "recently" deceased blues legend, "Big Joe" Turner. Unless there are 2 Big Joe's, the only one I know, died many moons ago. I will anxiously await a response by you or another informed reader, as inquiring minds want to know.

I didn't read it but I imagine they forgot to tell the Indian. It was probably an last minute story because I think the lead story for the day was supposed to be about some older woman's foot fungus that she's been battling for years but she got sick. I guess I have to look at it like, "No news is good news". I don't have a clue about Turner, maybe it was a misprint, coulda been "Big Toe" Turner.

Speaking of Press articles, did you see the one yesterday about poor "Bootsie"? I'm putting a link to it so you can at least read part of it "Cruelty stuns cat owner". I keep wondering when these dog and cat owners are going to wake up. It may have just been a cruel person but more than likely Bootsie was tearing up someone's garbage or terrorizing their cat. I just shot a male cat last week that came on our porch and killed 7 one week old kittens by biting their throats, just for the heck of it. They were kept in a kennel along with the mother but one of the kids let the mother out to take care of business and 10 minutes later, the kittens were dead. This Bootsie was caught in the act and did not make it home, if it had one. Houses here are acres apart so I'm guessing it was wild or a drop-off. I'm not a cruel person and I like dogs and cats but I won't hesitate to shoot one under those circumstances. I should have taken a picture of the carnage that this cat caused. If this woman truly cared about Bootsie, she wouldn't have let him roam...oh, this link is only good until next Wed.

Clyde, good to see you're still alive and wacky. I'm taking your story of shooting the cat with a giant box of Morton's Salt. I think you're spending too much time with Cliff, shooting off BB guns in the backyard. That poor cat must have been shot with a BB gun since all the other guns that I can think of, would have scattered that cat over one of them acres. That's a shame about Bootsie. Too bad he didn't get to the vet sooner but the woman has financial problems. I was thinking, "Why wasn't the cat neutered??" The owner said Bootsie was active during the mating season. Here's my soap box: if you have animals, have them spayed and neutered, be responsible and WATCH THEM GUNS!!! The only thing bad about cats is, they stalk new borns and suck the life out of them. This is true because I read it.
Clyde Kopeski posted 5/1/08 9:12 PM     Click here to send email to Clyde Kopeski
Hey Goat, that's another thing that got me....I think the cat mating season is 12 or 15 months out of the year. Why the heck would she neuter him and cause all that pain and suffering? Mating season wouldn't be any fun anymore. You know, maybe Bootsie was shot with a BB gun but that doesn't mean he didn't deserve it. Maybe that's all the person had or maybe they didn't intend to kill it....Bootsie still could have been doing something he shouldn't have. I imagine if Bootsie had run straight home and didn't pass Go or collect 200 dollars or wait until maggots infested his face, he may have been saved. That's why it's important to not let your animals roam, they don't really know or care when it's in their best interest to go home and they'll do just about anything.
Tourette Cowboy posted 5/1/08 9:55 PM
I seen what that cat did to those kittens and from the blood and guts stains still on Clyde's porch, It must have been really bad to behold, I know when i was younger I seen some dog fights that did not look this bad. Blood was everywhere! This cat needed to be put down for safty reasons, This cat to me had to be mad, And to think about this cat doing this to some poor little kid, thinking that this cat was a nice kitty, From what i saw it would have not been a nice thing to see. I think this man found out the hard way that all kittys are not as nice as we think they are.. see the video

lmao cowpoke, that's what they get for naming a male cat Pinkie. Don't try that at home boys and girls.
Goat-Roper posted 5/2/08 2:47 AM
Clyde, thanks for clarifying that you are in fact, from another planet. Here on Earth, there are 12 months to year. Maybe on a planet like Mars, there are 15 months to a year...the things you learn from another poster's postings. You are a martian with German/Polish DNA. Poor Bootsie....I feel sorry for that cat. I'm sure he was hunting birds with a "7 cat-year itch" and came across some bad people. I love cats! I can't imagine a home without a cat! I love dogs too but I can't deal with getting up in the AM to get dressed and go walk the pooch. Plus here in NYC, you have to pick up the doody. I take care of a friend's dog every now and then and EVERYBODY stops to talk to me and the hound. I keep meaning to get a T-shirt made that says, "Talk to the dog and leave me ALONE!"
Goat-Roper posted 5/2/08 2:53 AM
I forgot to add that the guy in the video holding Pinky, had it comin'. All the tell-tale signs were there from the cat that she didn't want to be held. Factor in the leash (cat's really HATE leashes), Pinky flipped out. I can relate.
Clyde Kopeski posted 5/2/08 2:54 AM     Click here to send email to Clyde Kopeski
I had to come back and watch Pinkie do his thing again. That sure looks like something that would happen to you cowboy, only you'd probably be wearing your speedo and have 2 cats tangled up. Pinkie for President..... I wonder how long Pinkie lived after that episode? I'm guessin' he was promptly removed from the pet-of-the-week list.
Goat-Roper posted 5/2/08 2:55 AM
Oh it's a "he"??? Well what to you expect???????? Poor thing has sexual identity issues. I can relate.

I can't say I love cats but I like most of them. We have two. One's about 11 yrs. old and has a crooked head from a bad ear infection...I think I told that story on here once. Cowboy can vouche for crooked-head. My yellow lab is out here in the garage with me right now burping and farting me to death. It's almost like being in a room with TC.
Tourette Cowboy posted 5/2/08 4:17 AM

The word evil itself? or this forum?

I'm sorry, I found out he made progress. He's learned to get off at the 16th floor and then he can walk up the stairs 2 floors. His apartment number is 1818 so he goes to 1816 and knocks on the door and they tell him to go one more door and he's home. Where there's a wheel there's a weigh. Way to use that noodle Goat. Us Mississippi people woulda never made it home in your shoes cause we don't wear'em.

I figured it out....you forgot to take your medication. Go read the story on Bootsie again and it will all come back to you. Bootsie will guide you if you let him. I think I've about run out of things to say to ya BPW. Give my regards to Bootsie.
Goat-Roper posted 5/6/08 2:16 AM
Listen you two, I'm cornfused. Steve, aka BPG, you contradicted yourself when you acknowledged that Clyde killing cats, was evil. If you recognize that killing cats is evil, then everything is not evil. I've known a few bipolars and there's nothing to be too concerned about if you are willful and take your meds and have you weekly seesions, sitting on the couch. As far as your God Complex is concerned, that's another issue and you'll most likely have to schedule in another visit with a Freudian practioner. If you think Clyde's killing cats is evil, then you you need to now about being a victim of "Belly Of The Beast. In medieval times, a victim of this torture was placed inside the caverns of a disembowled ox or cow, then literally sewn up inside the beast with only his head exposed from the flesh of his "host". Then the animal and victim were placed outside in the hot, hot sun to rot. Evil lurks inside the hearts of many men but not all. Clyde, what's with the "way" and "noodle" reference?? I don't get it at all. Is that you I hear saying, "Here kitty, kitty??"

Goat, I think this conversation has peaked just above my level to comprehend. I'd need to raise my IQ up to at least 23, maybe even as high as 25 to understand anything he's saying. I think this is a job for Harry.
Goat-Roper posted 5/6/08 2:22 AM
Oh brother, I HATE it when I make grammer errors! That's "know" and "hear"; please insert in the proper places. I don't know why I have such a problem with grammatical errors. That's another issue I'll have to have one day with the shrink.

G.R, I was a victim of this tourture 'Belly Of The Beast' in my past life, So don't go telling me what it is or not! And more often it was ox's that was used. The ones that could not pull their weight any longer. Not many cows was used in this torture, as they was consumed for other things

His dear wife is about to have a Birthday, and she is particularly fond of Colsor Liver, these Five should be enough for her Birthday Meal. I’ll pack them up, then deliver them to Ivander in his office down the Hall, I think you’ll get on his good side pretty quick…
Just don’t get on his bad side, he has a bit of a temper.

I know a tease from a mile away BPG, you're all talk and no action! You guys always turn chicken!! I love my wine, this is nothing new here (not to be confused with "hear" as in "DID YOU HEARD ME??" but I'm not a wino. I've learned "Everything in moderation". I was abducted years ago from the window of my bedroom and I still have scars on my wrist where the aliens inserted a needle and obtained my very life force. OMNI magazine, a now defunct mag from the 80's, had a column all about earthlings' abduction stories. I never wrote in but I suffered from sleep paralysis for years after the event. What I do know about abductions is, the aliens have the ability to stop time as we know it do exact their toll.
