Hi! I'm wondering if I could get some help from this message board... In June as part of my medical course at Uni I'm spending 5 weeks evaluating the primary care services for children with asthma, in East Kilbride (Scotland). I'm in the process of planning the study and would be really grateful for any views/experiences that you may have through your own asthma, or that of PEAK kids. For example: Who is your first source of advice? Your GP? Practice Nurse? Pharmacist? Do you feel that you have an adequate understanding of your asthma? Is there anything that you think could be improved to help children be empowered to be in control of their asthma? Any comments will be treated with strict confidentiality, and I'd be very grateful for any help you can give me to the email address above. Many thanks, David Hogg PEAK Edinburgh 2000 + 2001 (Student, Glasgow)
