Sorry folks but I am pulling out of this year's holidays, due to my eyesight/ which has been steadily getting worse I have had 3 operations on my right eye this year already one of which was only last Wednesday. I feel it would be unfair to take up a place on a hpliday that ciuld go to someone else. I would like to wish all vols old and new good luck, good weather, good fun and good children. ARRGGGHHHH no Kevin on the PEAK holiday, who now will play the mad Sheffield Football fan and run around wearing their blades t-shirts all week. who else will scare people with mad flying planes (except me) or run the mad quizes. and of course who is now going to bring enough guns (water ones that is) to arm a whole regiment of the army. We will all miss you this year Kev, and we all hope your eyes will be better for next year. Pete |

Sorry to hear about your decision but would urge you to reconsider, a half fit would be of huge benefit to one of the PEAK holidays and you would be missed by loads of volunteers and children if you didn't come this year. I am also sure that all the othr volunteers would offer support if your eyes did cause you trouble during the PEAK week. Thanks for the messages guys. particularly like yours Pete you could always borrow my blades shirts to wind up Wednesday and QPR supporters. Sadly I honestly cannot see my eyesight improving before July/August and I really don't want to go in this state. I am nore sensitive to sunlight than a Vampire at present. A shame but a harsh reality at present. Good luck everyne Kevin |
