Has anyone though about organising a game of Quidditch on a PEAK holiday???
It would have to be land based (can't get my hands on any Nimbus 2000's) and a bit more tame??? Should be fun!!!

I guess we need some kind of super-duper replacement for the Nimbus broomstick... something like skateboards, space hoppers... rocket-propelled with Pete's help!
Okay, maybe the safety front isn't sound on that one. Frizbees could be used for scoring "goals".
The link below is to a BBC article about a teacher who has made her own land-based quidditch. Perhaps we could use some of her ideas and adapt them for the holiday?

...might offer some good ideas too.

How about using childrens tricycles instead of broomsticks or perhaps the adults carrying the children piggyback.

We were thinking about having Quidditch in the swimming pool. We could use the woggles as broomsticks. We'll have to see how feasible this is when we get to Taunton.
