I've missed her so much for years, my mom says I act just like her. I remember this one time we were at my dad's house and we were in his backyard doing our nails and makeup. We both could NEVER go anywhere without looking our best. She always told me I was brave, for different reasons, like peircing my ears, plucking my eyebrows..and just things like that. I always wonder what she would've said when she found out I had gotten a tattoo. She was always wonderful and fun to be around, we always did her crosswords together while the guys watched football. She always had such interesting stories to tell and I loved hearing about them. I miss those stories a lot. I had always wanted her to be a part of my wedding, whenever I got married. And I wanted her to see what I look like for my Junior and Senior proms, and to see my 16th birthday a couple months ago. But she died while I was singing for a concert, just a couple weeks before she was going to come down to Texas for Christmas. Always remember that she is ALWAYS looking down at us. ~1 love~ http://www.freewebs.com/babylo Its my personal site, if you want to know what Joyce's FAVORITE grand-baby looks like go to the about me link and scroll all the way down. |

You are so right! Your grandmother was wonderful and never left the house without looking great! I met your grandmother about ten years ago. Your grandfather greeted me at the door of their Dearborn home. He led me to their den where she was wearing "cinderella" mules! She was so cute! I was totally fascinated by her style! Our friendship grew over the years. We would meet with our friends, Marilyn and others, twice a month in Novi. We read auras, discussed God, afterlife and such. Oh, how I miss your grandma! She was a positive, wise, intuitive, and incredibly FUN friend. There was a 40 year difference betweeen us that felt timeless. I always felt at home with her. Missing her as well, Lori PS You really do look and "feel" like your grandmother. :) |
