Author Topic:   Donate Seeds to a community garden?
Garden Coordinator Dan posted 1/3/08 6:00 PM
Hi - My wife and I are the coordinators of the community garden at Stanford's family housing. We'd like to devote a little of our real estate to growing a giant pumpkin or two to generate some excitement for gardening. We've tried seeds from the big commercial seed shops with little success, so perhaps the experts can be of help? If anyone is willing to donate a few giant pumpkin seeds to our efforts, it would be greatly appreciated. Our mailing address is 75 Barnes Court, Apt. 102, Stanford, CA, 94305. Thanks for your consideration and happy new year!

A day talking to Wal-mart, and every garden center in town should give you 100's of plants. If it doesn't it is because the locals don't consider you legimate. And since all of us do not know how legimate you are, I apologize in advance for not wanting to ship seeds.
