I dont see why not. Weve been conditioned to believe the body is a fragile and weak thing that dies easily.
Im a living contradiction to that belief.
When I was 5 I fell down the stairs and smashed my head through a window and not only did I survive, I remember it didnt even hurt, my ma told me I was laughing after it happened.
When I was about 10 a golf ball hit me on the head full force, I remember that hurt like a mother but didnt even injure me, although I do have a large dent in my head and have no explanation as to how it got there. Nobody believed me that I got hit in the head by a golf ball they all tell me id be dead yet it happened and im still around to tell the story. The weird thing is not even my friend who was sitting beside me when it happened believed me about it, its as if his memory was wiped out.
My latest should be dead experience was only a couple of months ago. At work I was tearing down a brick wall, as I was bending down to pick up a crobar a pile of bricks fell down from above me and hit me right on the head. Insanely enough not only did I survive, it hardly even hurt. I had a huge lump on my head but scientifically I should be dead. I woulda thought a single brick let alone a pile of them would crack my head open.
People who saw it happen could hardly believe I wasnt dead. I gained the nickname hardhead after that. |
