i joinged nsts gravesend around july/aug 1962. if anyone has any class photo's of that time i would really appreciate them. i went on to join my first ship the mv ireland sailing down the med. the start of a grand life.cannot recall many of the lads names only one we used to call ''big chris'' (about 6'4'') from burnley. anyway after a couple of years in catering i ended up becoming radio officer. best regards to all |
