im looking for any information on my grandfather whos name was JOHN ADAMS i only know that he was in the merchant navy as a cheif engineer [no idea what that was ]i have no idea what years or what ship only that in 1954 that is what was wrote on my mothers marriage certificate and she was 16yrs old than never knew my grandfather and would like to know as much as i can about anything good or bad do not want my past to just be forgtotton and people with it ..thankyou ...
