Hi, I just thought that soccer folks might enjoy this soccer radio show I made: Life-Net Radio #290 SOGGY FIELDS, SOCCER ENTHUSIASM The Camden Youth Soccer Club delivers a kind of urban revitalization we definitely like to see. During this third-ever season of Camden youth soccer, we dropped in on their second week of practice and play, Saturday, April 3. The fields were saturated from long rains that had just ended. Club officials considered declaring the day a rainout -- until about a hundred people showed up (on time). Amid interviews and ambient sounds, you'll hear how and why these teams keep the games going, rain or shine. I dare you to resist the enthusiasm. LOCATION: Pyne Poynt Park, Camden, NJ. DATE RECORDED: March 27. EXECUTIVE PRODUCER: Ed Bonnette, CYSC President. THIS PROGRAM AIRED in the tri-state Camden, Philadelphia, and Wilmington area over 5,000-watt WTMR-AM 800 on Wednesday, April 14, 2004, at 9:00pm. We present it here (in a file- compressed version) for the world: http://www.lifenetradio.org Just find the big headline on the front page, tap the Streaming Audio link, and wait a few seconds for play to begin. http://www.lifenetradio.org Life-Net News & Radio |
