Upgraded my aging 486 to a Pentium II and the new system refuses to recognize my old waveframe dongle, everything else seems to work fine. Any ideas on how to fix this? Dongle doesn't work under either Windows 3.1 or 95. I'm still using the original Tokenlink network card.Al |

I had a similar problem when I ungraded my 400s and 401s. Adding this line to the Autoexec.bat file fixed it.SET SSI_ACT=2,2 20Hope this helps. |

I ended up using SET SSI_ACT=500,500,500 sucessfully. Apparently this setting controls the timeout for the dongle response. Newer machines report the dongle results too fast and the software can't read the response. Setting a higher number slows down the response and allows the software to see the dongle. Max setting appears to be 5000,5000,5000Al http://www.handsonimaging.com |
