I have heard a lot of people giving various dates of the TET Holiday in Vietnam. Jim; you can see my URL here. I have been thinking of going back to Vung Tau and Hanoi. That will be a few years yet. To have a good trip runs into some serious money. I probably won't go for at least 2 years. By the way, did you have a guy contact you about his Father? He had no idea what Company he was in. I found it on the manifest for the 3th on the POPE. Two things. I have been looking at Going back to Vietnam, at a cost of about $1800.00 for a week.You can pick where you want to go, such as Vaung Tau, or Black horse, or Gia Ray or what ever... Ready to go anytime..! Yes I did speak with both the son and daughter of Allen Share. Allen was at Ft Irwin and in Nam with us. Not quite sure what to make of it. I knew their dad, as he worked with us. but he is telling the kids "Vietnam was stressful to talk about" Go figure, Anyway the old man does not want to hook up with his old pals, wont call me, wont let the kids give out his phone number, Who knows why.
