How many guys are trying to get their DD214's updated? I have sent an inquiry and was told It would take APROX 24 weeks. I did get a letter from the Archives in St Louis. They are sending the medals for vet. serv-Viet camp-National Def. I have not got the updated DD215 for the other medals we are allowed. Are any of you having the same response I am getting? I also sent for the Vietnam War Wall Card. I have not had a response from them yet. Merry Christmas to all and a happy New Year. http://www.fortirwin2vietnam36theng.org/home.html Fort Irwin to Vietnam |

They will not give you the medals issued by the Veitnam goverment. Things like Good Conduct will be sent to you and your name will be ingraved on the back side of them. Will they put the medals on your DD215 ? Even though they won't issue the medal awarded by VietNam? I have some I need to get listed on a DD215. |
