We all must learn that time and life waits for no one!!! so we all must learn to enjoy all of life right now, while we still have the time on this earth to enjoy all of life!!! We all will face some kind of cross roads in our lifetimes, mine being memory lost, a cousin to alzheimers, but yet this illness of mine has awaken peter to realize that time and life waits for no one!!! we all must press onto the next day in our lives in order to enjoy life. Peter is truly bless that i have a loving supportive wife, bernadette, she is by peters side each day, no matter what, its her never ending love for me that got peter back on track with life once this illness came upon me at the early age of 46, im now 53. Sometimes in our lives it takes a major event, be it bad health, lost of a loved one, or whatever, to awaken us all that life and time waits for no one, so we all must learn to press on with life no matter what!!! and if we all live this life of ours here on earth in the right way, then at the end, we will all have total peace in a special place called Heaven!!!! |

Dear Peter: Congratulations! You have found the solution to your problem. How fortunate you are to have a loving, compassionate, caring wife. The love/trust relationship that you have developed will see you through. Keep faith and God bless. Franklin http://hometown.aol.com/fkcassel4221914/myhomepage/index.html alzheimers Advocate |

Hi Peter!Enjoyed your post. You have learned a great lesson. To live in the present and enjoy it moment by moment. Life passes by so quickly. We are only passing through and should take time to live in the moment. So many spend most of their time dwelling in the past or only in the future. I enjoy looking at the past and the future, but living now in the presenst, day by day and moment by moment. Your post was a good reminder to me. Peter, you have such a wonderful outlook on your life. We all can learn alot from your perspective and your experiences. I have come to know Tim Brennan very well, and he is always such an inspiration. Wonder if you or Chip know him too??? Peter,I am new here but enjoyed reading your outlook on life. You are so right!!!!Life and time waits for no one. My dear husband has been fighting heart disease since 1983. 2 open heart surgeries, countless baloon jobs and a ton of pills have kept him alive with some quality of life now only to be robbed by alzheimers! He is only 69 and probably in mid-stage although it seems like I see changes in him almost dailey.Your message was up-lifting and encouraging in letting me know I'm "not the only kid on the block." http://www.remaxtomball.com |
