why me lord what did i ever do...i know what i did but i don't think that the end result fit the crime. i work as an inventory auditor in a local food store. i have worked this particular food store for over three years.i had my own cup and got a refill without immediately paying for it and i was let go by my company. first they said that i was suspended pending decision. then kept me waiting an extra 2 days and then said that they had decided to terminate me. i know that not paying for the refill it is considered theft, however, i was still in the store getting ready to go on break in about 15 minutes, i was going to pay for it before i went outside on break.i feel betrayed by my company and by myself. to loose the best job i have ever had over a stupid $.74 refill.where will i ever make $14 @ hr doing something i like again...

Dear Gail: It is my thought that we learn by our experiences. Your to be commended for sharing yours that others might learn. I say do not try to justify your actions. Be truly sorry for what you did and take full ownership of your actions. Ask forgiveness, Let it all out and you will become the person who can be trusted and welcomed into a new job. Keep faith and God bless. Franklin
