Hi all...I thought you might be interested to know that Anthony's now in this GREAT new Off-Broadway play, PRIVATE JOKES, PUBLIC PLACES starting October 24th. I've included some quick info about the play, and if you'd like to know more, just respond to the email or check out the website – www.private-jokes.com. Take care, Betsy PRIVATE JOKES, PUBLIC PLACES is “an X-acto-blade-sharp new comedy” according to The New Yorker. Oren Safdie’s provocative and hilarious glimpse into the world of contemporary architecture mixes academic pretensions with sexual tensions when a graduate student defends her thesis for a public swimming pool to an all-male jury. When it premiered in New York this spring, The Times called it “A biting send-up of architects…mesmerizing, inspired and astonishing - an hour and a quarter of laughter.” And theatre2k.com called it “a pencil up the ass of academia!” PRIVATE JOKES, PUBLIC PLACES” performs this fall as the inaugural production at the Theater at the Center for Architecture. Performance schedule: Mon., Tues. Thurs., Fri. at 8:30, Sat. at 5 & 8:30, Sun. at 3 & 7.
