I was just thinking, here we were talking about the coolest Sith ever, what would the galaxy have been like without him? Would there still have been an Empire? If so, would the Rebellion still have won without Luke and Leia? Just a thought. We were running out of open topics so I made one. |

Well, yeah of course there would have still been an empire, coz the Emporer didn't get where he got from Vader alone... at least, i don't think he did, the emporer would have just had a different apprentist i s'pose. But with out Luke and Liea, i think the rebellion may have been an incy bit stuffed. But then again the Empire wouldn't have been as strong with out Vader either, but two for one isn't really a fair trade. So to sum that up: search me! |

If Vader hadn't been born, then Obi-wan would have died in that nest of Gundarks. |

True, but that probably wouldn't have happened because Episode I would have been re-written and Obi-Wan probably would have never fallen into the nest of Gundarks. Darth Maul could have killed him, for all that you know. |

a lot of gungans would have died, because Ani wouldn't have blown up the droid control ship. it's hard to remove the main character from a story without changing the plot entirely. |

I think that the Empire would still be around. Because without Luke, nobody could destroy the death star. And the Rebellion would be blown into a million pieces. We also wouldn't be having problems with the Yuzhang Vong(or whatever they are called) because the Empire would have blown them to smitherines. They would still have Thrawn, after all. |

to expand on what sandra said, if Anakin wouldn't have been there to blow up the droid control ship, then Jar Jar Binks would have died. This would have prevented the part where Amidala put him in her place to represent her in the senate. If this wouldnt have happened, Palpatine wouldnot have been able to get anybody to motion for a republic army, which would have effectively destroyed Palpatins plans |

Not wuite got the right context there, people aren't generally pants, a bad thing that happens would be pants, not really a person, you know? It would have been okay if DDD had said, "Pants! Look, I'm turning into Tine!" Or if your football team lost on saturday, you could go, "how pants is that?" Alturnatively you could also go, "How rude is that?" |

Han would have never been caught if the empire hadn't gotten involved, and they wouldn't have gotten involved if Vader hadn't been looking for Luke. |

The Empire pinching that load of Spice had nothing to do with Luke or Vader, so that would have still happened so Han would still have been in trouble with jabba, plus luke and that wouldn't have turned up with his life saving deal, (and gotten him out of the system) so he wouldn't been able to pay jabba back so he'd still have been in loads of trouble so jabba would have had his head. |

Boba Fett was working for Vader when he caught Han Solo. sure, Jabba's bounty hunters would still be looking for him, but he wouldn't have gotten caught. |

Han started out in the imperial academy. if not for Vader, there probably wouldn't even be an imperial academy, thus his life probably would have taken a drastic turn and he would not have gotten involved with smuggling in the firstplace. |

I'm lost, Vader started the imperila Academy then? - But surely someone else would ahve done that if he hadn't, the emporer after all would still have needed a trainned army. Plus i'm also going with the some things are just meant to be theory, i'm not seeing that Han could have avoided the being a smuggler thing... |

Oh the weather outside is frightful!(it is 16 degrees outside,-8 for you Celsius people) But the fire is so delightful!(to bad we don't have a fireplace)And since we've no place to go!(I just found out I didn't have to go out there tonight!)
