DDD knew this day would be trouble. "Like always," he mumbled to himself. He struggled to lift himself off his hard bed in the T-X34 Freighter, and tried to remember what he had to do today. DDD knew he couldn't remember without his usual cup of caf, so he went to the Miniscule ship lounge and started brewing some caf.
DDD looked at the wall decorations while he was waiting for the caf to brew. He noticed one peticular decoration from the others. It was a small painting of a Krayt dragon Triumphant over the dewback that would soon become a meal. The picture used abstract colors, and the background looked more like Kel Rammas then Tatooine, adding to the strange feel of the picture. DDD wondered what the artist was thinking when he made the painting. "Probably nothing." Before long, DDD started to lull back into sleep.
It wasn't long after DDD dozed off that DDD's business partner stumbled in to the tiny room.
"Caaaafffff......" said the man.
The voice awoke DDD, and realized his pot was boiling over. He walked to the Cafinator and shut it off. "How was your sleep, Raamus?" All DDD heard was a groan form Raamus' direction. "Pretty good I see." DDD poured two cups of caf and sat at the nearest table. Raamus joined him. After a quick chat, DDD finished off his cup, and strolled to the bridge.

Where Christine sat hunched over the controls of the freighter. While DDD might have just gotten up, Christine had already had here cup of caf and been awake for several hours. After all, this was a new job for her and she had to impress the boss. Her last job had come to a tragic end. But no...She had promised herself she wouldn't think of that anymore. She turned to her boss who let out a chipper "Good morning! How goes the work?"
"It's fine I gue..." An alarm suddenly sounded through the frieghter.
"We're being fired upon!!" DDD said in alarm. "What is it?"
Christine looked down at her controls. Nothing was showing. She looked up at the viewport and something that looked like a burning man shot by.
"It's...it's...them...." She stuttered
"Who?" asked DDD.
How could she forget them? They had torn her last ship to peices abd left no survivers.
"They call themselves....The Flaming Wookiees of Death."

"Rammus! get over here now!" DDD screamed into his comlink. Rammus was notable for being late, slow and clumsy. DDD's thoughts drifted back to the time on Nar Shaddaa when he......
DDD suddenly remembered the Peril at hand. The Flaming Wookiees of Death had a past track record of Shooting down, capturing, torturing, or even incinerating their victims. Despite all these things, no one has every seen their spacecraft, if they had one at all. "that just changed." thought DDD.
"Christine! calculate a hyperspace jump. And make it fast!" DDD knew the odds of making it away unscathed where a bajillion to one, and he wasn't correlian. He did pay attention to the odds.

Raamus jogged onto the bridge. DDD looked over his large, gluttonous body, noticing Raamus had put on weight over the past few months. DDD thought Raamus was trying to LOSE weight, but his partner must have been having a few midnight sandwhiches. "Raamus, man the guns!" DDD shouted. Raamus jogged over and sat in the seat. "Christine! why aren't we moving?!"
"they've hit the engines sir! we're dead in the water." Christine's voice was filled with worry. Almost like.....
She knew what was going to happen.
A tremor went through the ship, with a faint sound of explosions from the rear of the ship. "Shields Down!" cried Christine.
"Raamus! are you shooting?" DDD tried to keep anger out of his voice, but he'd had anger for so long.....
Raamus called to DDD. "I can't find them! It's almost like they're not there!" Rammus paused a moment. "Wait. What's that?" Raamus pointed at the viewport. DDD and Christine's eyes followed his gaze.
A small pinpoint of light was in the distance. At first DDD thought it was a star, but it's size was approaching rapidly. "what in the....?" DDD was cut off.he was thrown from his feet. the whole ship violently lurched starboard, and began the long descent to the planet below.

Standing on the observation deck of the Imperial Star Destroyer Eradicator, Commander Venir Derris grimaced as the last rebel transport vanished into hyperspace.
With his emotions raging, Derris turned his head and stared at Captain Hargago Salitnir.
The fool!, exclaimed Derris to himself.
That was twice now that this pitiful band of rebels had outmanuvered that sorry excuse for an imperial.
This scum would never have made captain if the Emperor were still alive, lamented Derris. If only that fool had ordered his squadron out, then this "battle" surely would have had a more pleasing outcome.
Derris grunted softly. Battle? This was no battle. He remembered times when no smuggler, pirate, or rebel would stand up to the might of the Imperial Navy.
The last real battle the Empire had put up a good fight at was Endor.
Derris remembered. He was there.
He remebered the final few moments of that wretched day, as he watched ship after ship turn tail and flee like a wamp rat before a krayt dragon, while Derris and his squadron stayed firm.
Derris could remember vividly every laughing face of his men that died that day. After all his men were dead, he alone remained to fight off the insurgents, losing his arm in the process.
The rebels will pay.

Christine looked out and saw the spot of light. She knew what was coming, after all she alone had ever survived an attck by the dreaded Flaming Wookiees. The spot came closer and the crew of the frieghter could see a large form surrounded in flames. "Hmmm." said DDD, "How could there be flames in space? But more important what is that?"
"It's the mother ship of the wookiees, led by their infamouse commander, Da Wookie."
"What wookiee?"
"DA wookie"
"oh, ok"
The ship lurched as it continued it's descent towards the planet.
"Maybe they will leave us alone if we crash land." muttered Raamus
"Don't count on it." Christine said with dread, "We've seen them, they can't let us live.

DDD knew his ship was going down, that his buisness was over. "Sithspit."
DDD recalled his father. His father was great at getting out of tough situations. He shot down 3 Imperial Tie fighters when the Imperials tried to board his companys small star cruiser. His father was on an escort mission with Starlifter corporation, just as the empire was gaining power. His convoy was being checked for Illegal substances. DDD never found out if his father was escorting illegal substances or not. He and his four Fighter squadron launched against a Victory class Star Destroyer and her two Tie complements to buy time for the cruiser and the convoy to jump to hyperspace. He and his wingmen downed 7 imperial fighters, and DDD's father and 2 of his wingman returned to the hanger of the cruiser just before it jumped to hyperspace. What happened to his other wingman, no one knows.
DDD could recall many other victorys that his father had as a fighter pilot, but there was one.....
A tremor through his ship rattled DDD out of subconciounsness.
We need to do something.
"Christine, do we have any control over movement, at all?"
"Yes sir, but only lateral controls."
"Turn the ship away from the planet. Once you complete the meanuever, kick full power to the engines."
"Sir, the engines aren't..."
"Just do it!!" DDD needed to hold back on his anger. Just another thing to worry about. "prepare to Launch all escape pods toward the planet, except the bridge pod." DDD was almost sure the pursuers had scanning equipment, and they could scan the escape pods within seconds. But DDD needed all the time he could get. "Christine, On my mark, full engines. Raamus, prepare to launch the escape pods.... Now!" DDD felt, rather than heard, explosions from the rear of the ship, but it was wrecked anyway. If the wookies did have scanners, they should sense power going to the engines, buying them more time. That, along with the escape pods, should give them enough time to get planetside in the remaining pod. DDD looked at the monitors, and saw his ship's 6 escape pods launch toward the planet.
Including the bridge pod.
DDD heard Cursing from Raamus' direction.
"Raamus, what's happening?"
I" accidently launched all off the escape pods. I think they were rigged to a slave system." DDD's plan just dissolved. without a means for escape, they were as dead as liquified dewback innards. "Or worse."
Derris posted 10/17/03 5:45 PM
"Well, there goes that plan." muttered DDD. "Ideas, people!"
Christine let out an audible sigh.
"You know, we could try to make a run to hyperspace," she said.
"Hmm... There's a thought," DDD replied. Hyperspace! Of course. It could be possible to use the planet's gravity as a slingshot to shoot them farther away from the planet. He thought back to a similar time, to when he was a lad, when his father had used a similar trick to escape an Old Republic Customs Ship.
"Captain?"
His father's move really was brilliant. His father had put the ship into an uncontrolled spin and at a precise moment, punched his engines to full, sending the ship into tight orbit around the planet. By doing that, He was able to...
"Captain!"
DDD snapped back to the situation at hand.
"Umm...Where was I?" said DDD, causing Christine to start banging her head against the navigation console.
"Oh, yes. That's right. Here's what were going to do..."
At that moment, the crew was thrown off their feet. The ship let out a low rumble.
"What happened?" inquired Raamus.
"I don't know" replied DDD, picking himself up off the floor. "It we took a major hit. It sounds like..."
He was interrupted by a tinny voice coming from the engine compartment.
"Captain DDD! Captain DDD" said the voice.
"What now, Emquait!"
"Captian DDD, I believe that we have lost our Hyperdrive motivator!" said the resident protocol droid, M1Q8.
Oh no, despaired DDD.

The word "Doom" kept flashing in DDD's mind. "Doom.....DOOOM!!!!"
"Be quiet!" Shouted DDD.
Christine looked confused. "Nobody said anything."
M1Q8 chimed in. "Actually, DDD said...."
"Shut up Emquait!"
"How rude!"
The ship continued it's long tumble towards the planet before them. The lights inside dimmed.
"I think we're losing power." said Raamus.
"Really." DDD was helpless. all they could do is wait for the planet to pull them to a crash landing. Or be destroyed by the Wookiees.
It was 4 minutes later, and no one had a fresh idea. "Prepare for a crash landing." DDD estimated impact in 2 minutes. "Two long minutes." thought DDD.
Dark Death Dude posted 10/21/03 4:05 AM
DDD looked before him. It was his father, standing on a landing platform. He looked tired and worried, like it was almost the end. His father was already dead, but that didn't matter.
DDD looked around. the landing platform was secluded, surrounded only by hills. On one hill DDD noticed black shapes gathering at the crest of the hill. Suddenly, Blaster fire began to rain down from the hill to where DDD's father stood. He tried to run, but there was no hope. blaster bolts hit him again and again, Burning holes in his skin.
"NNNNOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO!!!!!!!!!!!!!" yelled DDD. The shapes on the hill turned toward him. DDD saw one of their muzzels flash. He knew it was over. DDD didn't dare move. All he could do was stand there. The blaster bolt came closer. And closer. So close that DDD almost had to squint from the brightness of the blaster bolt.

DDD woke up. A dream.
The back of DDD's head was hurting. He touched it with his hand, and out came blood. He looked about his surroundings.
A grey, desert-like planet with not much in the way of decoration. To his left was the smoking remains of his ship, to the right, nothing.
"Wait." DDD looked into the distance. a very small cloud of dust was rising. Then two, then three, until countless numbers of dust clouds were on the horizon.
Moving towards them.
Fast.

Da Wookie glanced out from his hover craft. He could not see the downed ship, but his scanning officer told him it was there, and no one dared to lie to the most feared pirate in the Outer Rim. Normally he would not worry himself with a small freighter that was crashed on a desert planet. Even if the crew survived impact, they would not live long under the desert sun, But this crew was special to him. The captain was of particular interest because DDD owed Da Wookie something that on He could repay.

It was a cool day on the planet Balmorra, A small family of wookiees sat at a table in the restraunt enjoy their meal of fried nerf. Suddenly out of the kitchen came the sound of blaster bolts. Someone screamed as a man in his mid 40's ran out with an old republic blaster rifle in his hands. He was followed closely by a young man of about 16 who looked so much like his companion that he could only be his son. It soon became evident that these men were in trouble as a group of Imperial Stormtroopers came boiling out of the kitchen. As the firefight ensued, The wookiee family saught cover behind a group of tables. As the two men made their way to the door, the older man took a small round device from his pack and hurled it at the troopers. Some one yelled "Thermal Detonator!", But as the bandits left the building, the younger looked back at the family with sympathy in his eyes. The last thing the small wookiees saw was the explosiong engaulfing the building.
As the dust cleared, the only thing remaining after the roof collapsed was the older male wookiee, bleeding from the hole in his thigh, holding his wife and two small children.

Da Wookie had searched the galaxy for the man who had killed his family, the one responcible for ruining his entire life. Now he had found him at last.

The dust clouds in the distance grew even larger. DDD grabbed his Macrobinoculars and glanced into them. "Speeder Bikes." DDD had nothing to outrun them with. Unless.....
He was cut short. A high pitched scream flew into the air. A ship flashed past, firing Torpedos into the ruined ship. DDD tried to find his crewmates. "Maybe they're having a tea party"
DDD tried to get up, but his leg felt broken. He crawled over to the remains of the ship. The Speeder bikes were getting closer. Closer than DDD was comfortable with.
HE found the hatch to the ship blown open. He crawled in, and made his way to the cargo bays, Where he found Raamus and Christine.
They were opening the cargo boxes they were hauling. The peticular box they had just opened was a tea shipment to Raltirr.
"So you ARE having a tea party!"
"Be quiet and help us find some speeder bikes." DDD assumed they had also seen the speeders. He began to open a larger sized box, while Raamus was looking in a smaller box.
"Uh, Rammus, I don't think you can fit a speeder bike in there."
"Yeah, well I was looking for some food. I had a light Breakfast."
The Screeching sound came back again. "Get Down!"
THe ship shook violently, knocking over crates and dislodging bulkheads.
Just then the speeder bikes arrived.

If looks could kill, this whole system would have gone nova, thought the flight deck officer as he watched Commander Derris pull himself out of the TIE Interceptor.
The officer watched as one of the flight crewman turned to help Derris. The Crewman was not able to get to him before Derris mananged to heave himself out of his badly damaged TIE. Derris' face seemed to have turned a dark shade of purple.
"Oh, this can't be good," the flight officer said to himself.
He was right.
Derris turned sharply on his heel and stormed toward the turbolift, purposely not seeing the crewman.
Derris' right shoulder slammed into the crewman, sending him over the catwalk edge. Screaming in terror, the crewman was able to catch the side with his right hand.
Taking no notice of the crewman, with his purple face contored with rage, Derris stormed into the turbolift.
Dark Death Dude posted 10/31/03 3:52 PM
"Hide behind boxes!" shouted DDD. His two crewmates complied. After a few moments, 3 Imperial stormtroopers marched into the cargo hold. "It's all clear." said one of the stormtroopers. "hey, SK239, are those what I think they are?"
A stormtrooper walked forward, this one having a slightly deeper voice. "it's a standard P-series power coupling. Why?"
"Oh. Sorry. I thought It was one of those new...." The stormtrooper's voice dissappeared as he left the cargo hold.
DDD waited a moment before talking. "That was close."
"No kidding." said Raamus. "I'm going to go see if they stole my secret stash of Procon Energy bars." Rammus jumped up as quickly as possible, and jogged out of the hold.
Christine was quick to follow. "Raamus! get back here!" But it was too late. THe stormtroopers had already seen him.
DDD cautiously peered out of the hold, listening to the conversation.
Stormtrooper 1:Um, you aren't authorized to land here.
Christine:We we're shot down!
Stormtrooper 2:It doesn't matter. We're taking you in for hauling illegal substances, killing innocent civilians, and threating the local security.
Christine looked aghast. "We didn't do any of that!"
"Hey, whose calling the shots here, you, or me? You're lucky I didn't report your for betraying the Empire!" DDD already suspected these weren't real stormtroopers, otherwise Christine and Rammus would already be in binders.

Derris entered the captain's office, doing his best to control his anger. He knew that the captain was trying to make him angry. It didn't help that Derris was failing miserablely.
The captain's office was large... Very large for a space-restricting star destroyer. The walls were lined with a rare and exotic type of wood, which was very uncommon in space. On three sides of the room, there was the Imperial symbol made from a dark mohagany. In the center of the room, there stood a desk large enough to land a TIE on. Behind the desk sat a man in a vast chair. The captain was a very fat man.
Derris marched right up to the desk, and offered a quick salute. He stood quivering with barely suppressed rage.
"Ahh... Commander Derris! How went the mission?" asked Captain Salitnir offhandly.
Derris pulled out his hideout blaster and centered his sights on the man's heart. He pulled the trigger.
The captain's face was a look of shock as the blaster bolt left a scorched hole in what used to be his heart.
Derris a wave of joy wash over him. Joy he had not felt in a very long time. He laughed with glee.
"Derris? Would you please stop laughing? Your not going to like what I have to say." said Salitnir with a crooked smile.
Waking from his dream, Derris quickly regained his rage.

Sithspawn!!! How had they gotten into this mess?!? Christine had just escaped from the cluthches of the empire! She wasn't about to go back. After the Emperor and Darth Vader died, Christine had finally come to her senses. I mean ,come on, as a dark jedi you could only kill so many people before it got really old. She'd decided to try being a do-gooder and see what happened. But the Empire was after her. Why let a good dark jedi go to waste? She looked at the stormtroopers, obviously amateurs. They hadn't even searched her, so they hadn't found the lightsaber she was carrying. "I think that you should let us go," she said.
"Why should we?"
"Because", she ignited her lightsaber with a swoosh, and one of the stormtroopers did a double take.
"Darth Tine?", the stormtrooper said incredulously.
How did it know her name? No one knew her from before.
"Take off your helmet", she instructed.
He/she complied.
"Aims?!?"

DDD couldn't believe what he was seeing. Christine definenatly NOT the calm, nice girl he picked up on Yaga Minor. She seemed to be in control of the situation, and DDD decided that was a bad idea.
The familiar screeching came back, but this time the ship didn't shake. Da Wookie might be out of missiles. Or he might just be intimidating them.
DDD decided to take control of the situation. He stepped out of the doorway, and strolled to where the conversation was happening. The Stormtrooper with the helmet off noticed DDD first.
"Who are you?"
DDD's answer came back swiftly. "I'm your worst nightmare."
"AHHHHH!!!!!!!!!!" Shouted Raamus. He ran to the hallway with the weapons locker, entered a doorway, closed the hatch, and sealed it shut. Weapons Locker. That could mean only one thing. DDD could barely restrain laughing at the skeptical. Seeing Raamus come out a Tieon Phasor blaster in each hand, blasting everything in sight.
Darth Tine was quick to step in. "Shut up, DDD." DDD was shocked at what he heard. He took a step towards Christine, but could take no more, because there was a lightsaber pointing at his head.

"So, what was it that you came to see me about, Commander?" asked Salitnir, shuffling a pile of papers on his desk.
Finally regaining his composer, Derris thought about what he was going to ask the captain. "Well, it's no use putting this off, Venir Old-boy. I might as well get this over with," thought Derris, as he prepared himself.
"Captain, I request permission to transfer from your command"
"Permission denied," replied Salitnir, not even looking up from his desk.
The answer shocked Derris. He stood as still as stone, trying to fathom what he just heard. He tried again.
"I request permission to transfer," asked Derris again, this time with a slight edge to it.
"Denied." replied Salitnir again, this time turning his head up to look at Derris. He wore a Gleeful smile on his face.
He's doing it to me again, thought Derris, as he felt the rage rekindle inside of him. He knows why I want to transfer, but He keeps me here just to belittle me.
Salitnir had finally done what Derris had wanted him to do from the beginning of finding the rebel convoy. He finally sent Derris' squadron to deal with the rebels.
The mission was going perfectly. His squadron was able to eradicate half the convoy before it's escort had arrived. It was only a squadron of x-wings. Nothing that his squadron couldn't handle. His pilots were the best trained pilots in the empire. They were even better than the 181st, but nobody acknowledged it.
But when the escorts arrived, the mission fell to pieces. Derris had never seen rebels fight like these x-wings did. They tore through his squadron like a rancor through jawas.
Well, like a rancor through anything, really.
Derris hadn't recognized the squadron crest, so it must have been a recently formed squadron. He had encountered almost every single rebel squadron in his career, so he should know. The crest was similar to every other rebel crest ever devised. Except for that one bumble bee squadron, the...What was it? Oh, yes. The Teirfon Yellow Aces. That squadron was just odd.
The x-wings crest started with a red circle. Inside the circle was a blue rebel symbol. Shooting out from that symbol with a red flash were twelve x-wings. Derris didn't know what symbolism the crest had, but he would remember it. Oh, yes, he will remember it.
But the final insult came when he delivered his primary report moments earlier.
When Derris described the x-wings crest to salitnir, he saw a faint smile on the captain's face for a fraction of a second. Derris deduced that the smile could only mean one thing.
Salitnir knew the squadron. Salitnir knew that it would be there.

DDD took a step back. He needed a distraction. If he could contact Raamus, Rammus could cause a distraction, DDD could get one of the speeders, and take off; but that meant he left Raamus behind. And what about Christine? The screeching came back again, And the ship shook from Da Wookies concussion blasts, knocking Christine and the other two stormtroopers on their feet.
"Um, if you'll excuse me." DDD ran to the room Raamus was hiding in. He pushed the activation button on the door, entered his code, and waited for the door to open. And waited. DDD grabbed his comlink. "Raamus? Rammus! come in!"
A groggy response came in. "Uh, wha...?"
"Raamus, Wake up and let me in!" DDD looked back at Christine and the stormies. They weren't moving. By the time DDD had turned around, Raamus had the door open. "Have you been sleeping?"
"Uh... No...." He was obviously lying. DDD ducked into the weapons room. He looked at all the fun toys he could use, but was dissapointed. DDD remembered that he had sold most of his weapons for more inventory space. A dumb idea.
All he could find in the room were 4 blasters, 3 detonation charges, and a handful of energy bars.
"Hey! You found my stash!" Raamus rushed over and stuffed the Energy Bars into his pockets.
"Here, take these." said DDD. DDD handed 2 blasters and a detonation charge to Raamus, while he kept the other two Blasers and detonation charges. "Now, where were we?" DDD turned around. Instead of seeing Christine and the Stormtroopers lying on the deck, he saw something else. Something that made his heart stop.
All DDD saw was the Emperor, laughing maniacally. What In the name of the Emperors black bones? Suddenly the laughter turned into the growling of a Wookie. DDD snapped back to reality, and saw Da Wookie standing in front of him.

The Huge beast of a Wookie just stood there staring down on him. DDD backed away slowly, bumping into the bulkhead behind him. Da Wookie just gazed at him in silence.
DDD looked over the furry creature. He was well over seven foot tall and was amazingly muscular. His arms were the size of DDD's leg and his menacing claws were extended to the point where DDD felt this could be the last moment of his life. But the one feature that terrified DDD was his face. Horrific Burn marks covered half of his face, reaching from his forhead down to his lower left cheek. One eye was covered by a sinister black eyepatch, no doubt a casualty of the fire that scarred him. The longer DDD stared at his face, the more he got the feeling that he had seen him somewhere before.
"I see you are afraid. Good......" Said Da Wookie, his voice translated by a small mechanical device on his throat. "My you do look afraid."
DDD's mind scrambled wondering, He knew that face from somewhere, but where?
"I trust you were not to damaged by your crash landing. It would be a shame if I didn't get to enjoy your suffering to the fullest extent."
"What do you want with me?" DDD asked, stalling for time.
"What do I want with you!?? I wish to do to you as you have done to me. take everything you hold dear and smash it to bits. have you watch as your life is destroyed and every waking moment is a reminder of the failure you are. and then when you have no more life to live, I kill you. Ahhhhh, I have been looking forward to this for a long time."
"do whatever you want with me, I don't care. My life isn't that great anyway. Just kill me and spare yourself the trouble." DDD knew he didn't have a chance. whatever he did to Da Wookie he sure didn't remeber it. but if he was doomed maybe he could buy Raamus and Tine some time.
"Oh, I have other plans. Before you die you must witness the death of your friends."
"Not, Raamus...." DDD moaned. Raamus was his only real friend and if Da Wookie harmed him.....
"Raamus? Hahaha.... you think I would harm my best agent?" with this Raamus walked up behind Da Wookie.
"Sorry DDD." Raamus said "I've been trying to bring you to Da Wookie for years now, but I didn't think we'd become such good friends in the proccess."
It all made sense, Raamus's blunders over the years, the close calls were he seemed to not be able to do anything right, Raamus launching the final escape pod.
"No not Raamus" Da Wookie continued "but your Jedi friend is a different mattere entirely." The ship was filled with a terrible shriek, one that only comes from one being tortured.
"You touch her again and I'll fillet you alive, you animal!" something stirred deep inside DDD. he didn't know what it was, and couldn't describe it, but it was the most powerful feeling he had felt since his fathers death.
"I'm afraid she won't be around to hear of your bravery"
With this DDD jumped at Da wookie's throat intending to strangle him then and there.
His hands never reached their mark. Da Wookie Smashed his hand into DDD's nose, shattering it into pieces. the force of the impact knocked him to the ground. DDD's last preception was of Tine's continual screaming in the background before the world went black.

DDD awoke with a start. Where was he? He tried to get up, but the pain to his nose was overwhelming. It felt like it was bitten by a Kowakian Monkey Lizard. Or punched by 7 foot tall, muscular Wookie with burns on his face.
DDD looked around. his vision was blurred. Almost everything was dark. To his right and left, it was completely dark, but straight ahead, a distance that DDD couldn't guess, was a sliver of grey. ho looked above him and saw more black, with a sliver of blue sandwhiched between the black. He struggled to get up, but now he noticed that his Arm was hurting. Da Wookie did a good job on him.He noticed that his attire was heavier than usual, and also restricted his movement. He looked at himself, and saw himself in a rebel pilot's uniform. DDD didn't realize he was a rebel. But maybe he was. Maybe everything about him from the past was wrong. Maybe he had no father. Maybe he was the clone of the REAL Dark Death Dude. He tried to shake the thought from his head, but the shaking caused his nose to hurt.
After sitting for a while and gathering his thoughts, he tried to get up. It was a little easier now, but his arm and nose still hurt. He figured his nose was fractured in several places. He also just had realized that his face was itching. Ho touched his face, and felt a beard. He must have been there for a long time.
*****************************
DDD struggled out of what he guessed was a narrow corridor, or a back alley between some buildings. It was a little brighter, but he couldn't see much detail. He did notice figures, walking about. A few noticed him and ran away, others just stared, and some called in something on comlinks. DDD was confused. What was wrong with him? Did he smell really, REALLY bad? He saw the pilot's uniform on him, and a thought dawned on his mind. He was on Courscant. That's why everyone was looking at him strange and running.
And calling Stormtroopers on their comlinks.
DDD though about it a second too late. As his vision stated to clear up, he saw 12 white-clad poeple walk into the area.
"There he is." Da Wookie was clever; Make him look like a rebel and stick him on Courscant. He would get tossed in jail, leaving him cold and miserable. He tried to run from the troops, but he quickly stumbled and fell. The troops grabbed him, hit him in the head, and hauled him away.

Captain Salitnir's Wardroom, Eradicator

Salitnir turned and faced Derris. "Venir, I have a mission for you. You would do well to accept it."
Derris stifled a groan.
"Whatever the mission requires, sir, I will get it done." Derris said proudly.
"Good, I knew you wouldn't have a problem with this one." Salitnir replied.
The captain got out from behind his desk and walked over to a large holomap on the bulkhead.
"The mission should be relatively straightforward. A rebel agent seems to have been captured on Coruscant just a few hours ago, Coruscant standard time."
Obviously CST, thought Derris. What else was there?
"I need you to ferry the agent to Lusankya," Salitnir said, pointing on the map.
Before he could control it, Derris' jaw dropped. Realizing what he had done, he quickly shut it.
"Umm...Captain? isn't there a "lesser" pilot that could handle this? Maybe Commander Bervin from the 149th would be a better canditate," pleaded Derris. He was starting to lose his temper again.
"No, commander, you're the only one who could take this mission. The agent is a very high-profile one."
He had better be, thought Derris.
"The agent in question has long been a thorn in the Empire's side. A veteran of Yavin, Hoth, Endor, Bakura and several minor egagements, this agent is one that needs to be feared.
I fear no one, thought Derris, as his mind started working... Could it Be?
"Solo?" Derris asked.
"That is correct, commander. High Command needed someone they think is good to supervise this operation. So they picked you," Salitnir said with an ironic smile.
Ferrying Han Solo would not be an easy task, calculated Derris. This could be that big career booster he was looking for.

iloveyouiknow, captain of the Sunstrider lounged in his pilot's chair. He closed his eyes, blotting out the blue rays that came through the cockpit of his Barloz class frigate as a result of hyperspace. After several minutes, he opened his eyes and pressed a button on the console in front of him. "Zero, how about bringing me a drink." Zero was his droid. iloveyouiknow had no clue what model he had originally been, but the droid was so packed full of extra stuff that he frequently overloaded. Zero had an interesting personality, he had a very naive thought process, but the way he spoke came off as sarcastic. The tall droid moved through the module into the cockpit where he handed a class of Ic and Ton to iloveyouiknow. "Take the controls for a little while, Zero I want to get some sleep"

DDD awoke once again. this time he was strapped to a bed in what appeared to be an interogation room. He tried to move his head but it was held firmly in place by a restaining belt. He took in his surroundings. The room, or what he could see of it, was small and rectangular in shape. The ceiling was a light grey hue like that found on most star destroyers, and the walls carried that color all the way around to a small door. there was no windows that he could see, but half the room was out of his vision. he tried to break himself free, but the straps were holding him tight.
"I see you are awake." said a precise voice which could only belong to an imperial officer. "Good, now we can get started."
A bright light turned on, nearly blinding DDD. he knew what was in store for him here, for he had been in rooms like this far to many times. all he had to do was tell him what he knew and they usually let him go.
"I know what your thinking, Solo, but there is no escape from this room." said that crisp voice.
"Solo? I'm not solo! what are you talking about?" ask DDD.
His face was greeted by a slap across his broken nose. pain shot through his face like a swoop pilot on spice.
"Don't play games with me. Your voice has been analized and it is that of Solo, though I must say, the holovids do look quite a bit better."
(He thinks i'm solo.) DDD thought to himself. Da Wookie was good. somehow he had changed his voice to sound like that of the famous rebel and probably his face too. DDD knew he was in for a long night.

At least I'm famous, thought DDD. Or infamous. He survived the night of pain, and now lay in a dark, area. not much except walls, floors and ceilings, or so he guessed. DDD had nothing else to do, so he looked at the ceiling. At first he saw nothing. But as he continued to look, it began swirling. The swirl took on a red hue, until before him, a flaming red eye appeared. It looked at him intently, and DDD dared not to move. The vision suddenly changed to the Emperor, again laughing maniacly. DDD screamed. He must be going insane. He got up, stumbled around, and eventually fell down. His mind swirled. He felt hungry, tired, and a need for activity. DDD soon wished he hadn't wished for the last one.
A door DDD hadn't seen hissed open. blinding light poured into the room.
"Ready for round two?" said a voice.
"Only if I get a lollipop." mumbled DDD. He reluctanlty followed the man out the door.

Derris brought the shuttle Ederion smoothly out of the Eradicator's main bay. With a gentle hand, he swung the shuttle around to prepare for it's entry into hyperspace.
Mustn't upset the passengers in the back, Derris said to himself, hating every moment of flying this undersized trash-hauler.
The passengers in the back were an enlarged company of hand-picked stormtroopers, and a full colonel who had the favor of the sector's Grand Moff.
Oh no. We musn't upset them, no.
Derris reached for a switch on the console, turning on the shuttle's intercom.
"Colonel, this is the pilot. We are ready for our run to hyperspace."
Several moments later, the com hissed.
"I copy that commander. My troops and I are secure back here."
"Roger that."
Derris moved his hand to a lever on his right. He counted to three and yanked it back switfly, sending the shuttle into hyperspace.

Tine suddenly realized that she was lucid. Strangly enough, her body was responding to the nerve impulses from her brain.
Something's not right here, she told herself.
She tried frantically to get herself to move, but it was no use.
Do I even have a body anymore? What if they... OH NO! They removed my brain and put it in a sustained life cylindar!
Filled with despair, she tried to move one last time in defiance.
Her eyelids fluttered.
Yes! I Okay. I'm whole. I think.

What a nice, cozy jam I've gotten myself into. Three people in a cell designed for two at maximum. Great. Just great, thought Tine sarcastically.
Inside the cell with her were Aims and a mousy-looking stormtrooper by the name of Morton.
Mousy-looking stormtrooper? The empire must be doing worse than I thought.
"We'e got to get out of here!" whined Morton nazily, for about the 13th time in the last hour.
"Shut up, Morton!" yelled Aims and Tine.
At that moment, they heard the doors open. In stepped the giant wookiee. Towering over the three in the cell, his mouth broke into a sly smile.
"Well, well, well. It's about time you decided to rejoin the living, Darth Tine." rasped Da Wookie through his vocal synthesizer.
Arrogantly, Tine cocked her head to the side.
"You're a little behind the times, wookiee. I gave up that Dark Lord of the Sith thing almost a year ago."
Da Wookie lifted his head back and stared up at the ceiling.
"Ahhhh... that's right. You finally gave up on that sad devotion to a feeble old man. What? Did you finally become tired of being dark pawn of the sith?"
"Watch your mouth, wookiee," replied tine. "You should be careful talking about things of which you have no understanding. Do think that when I gave up my title, I lost all of my power? I could cause you more pain than you ever could have imagined."
A look of emotional pain flashed across Da Wookie's eyes as she finished speaking.
"I am sure you could, Tine, but pain does not mean anything to me anymore. After what he did to me, the only thing I have left to face in my life is death. And I have already faced that many times."
"What did he do to you?" asked Aims with a quizzical look on her face.

Captain Lurrakk Arrande glared triumphantly out of the bridge of his ship, Respite's end, an Interdictor-class Star Destroyer. He grinned, preparing for the task before him.
Arrande once served the empire, but shortly after the defeat at Endor, he went on his own. Now he fought on three fronts: First and foremost, the Rebels; random pirate bands; and remanents of the Empire.
He looked at the ship before his viewports: the Gladius, an Imperial dreadnaught. THe dreadnaught had been recently rebuilt to acommodate three fighter squadrons and 2 stormtrooper regiments, while sacrificing speed and firepower. Firepower wasn't a large issue; it still boasted 20 turbolaser batteries, and with it's three tie squadrons, made it quite a formidable ship. To his right and left, but out of view, were two carrack-light crusiers. He hadn't decided names for those two yet; he recently aquired them with the use of his interdictor. Fresh from the space-docks, they were on a course for Couruscant, where they would then be sent to their destinations. They never arrived at couruscant, of course. He plotted they're course, and ensnared them in his gravity wells. With the help of the Gladius, he boarded the ships and took them.
But now he had a new task. Long-time rival Colonel whats-his-name was enrout to Couruscant for something highly classified. He would simply yank the Colonel out of hyperspace, board the ship, and interrogate the information out of him, just as the Colonel had done to him, long ago. He already knew the path of flight the Colonel would take; his intelligence officers were only to good. He would have to give a reward to his director of intelligence. A smart man. They would have to leave within the next hour if they wanted to get the Colonel. But, being catious as he was, he would leave now, in case the Colonel decided to arrive at couruscant early. He made sure he didn't become too cocky, or he would lose the respect of his crew, and he didn't want that.

Captain Arrande sat in his office desk, looking at the art along the walls. He wasn't studying the art, of course; it helped him keep his concentration. And his concentration was on the mission ahead. Arrande had no doubt that the Colonel would travel with escort. That would complicate things. But it would be of no worry. The Colonel had nothing larger than 2 Star Destroyers, and those wouldn't be used for escort duty. Probably something lesser, like a strike cruiser. nothing he couldn't handle.
A transmission came in on his com unit.
"Sir, we're jumping out of hyperspace, and request your presence on the bridge."
Arrande ignored the message a moment, then stood up and walked out the door.
***************************
He arrived at the bridge not a moment too late. They were just jumping out of hyperspace, when the liuetenant said, "glad you could join us."
Arrande's voice came back as a snarl. "Save it."
They were fully out of hyperspace now. Arrande was quick to action, not caring to identify what the ship before him was. He had seen them hundreds of times before. "Launch Ties!" HE barked. "Pull the two carracks to attack the bridge, and order the Respites End to attack the bow!" How did the Colonel know he would be here? Thoughts streamed through the captains mind as he prepared for a long battle.
***********************
The Colonel sat back in his seat. The ambush would be taking place now, if his estimations were correct; which of course, they were.
The comm unit clicked. "Colonel, we're dropping out of hyperspace."
That was commander Venir Derris. A competent man. The Colonel might suggest a transfer of this man to his fleet. He could use people of Derris' quality.
The Colonel lurched forward as they jumped out of hyperspace, and looked out his viewport to see the beatiful Imperial capital below.

Fromer Turant looked out of his helmet and saw nothing but endless skyline and thousands of ships. Another day like this and he was going to quit his job as an Imperial Stormtrooper. He wasn't sure if that was aloud in the Imperial army, but when they assigned him to Coruscant, guarding a small prison facility, he knew he was going to hate it. Growing up on the agricultural world of solaris, he would never get used to the captivity of this city.
"TW 685, respond."
That was his number and it took him a moment to realize it. "TW 685 here, what do you want?"
"the commander wants you to transfer a prisoner to a new cell block. respond to the operations center. Captain Greload out."
"I'll be out of here tomorrow." Fromer mumbled to no one in particular. He wondered why they needed him to move the prisoner when they had plenty of base guards assigned to that task already. As he got up, he decided this would be his last day before deserting. As he walked around the corner towards the command center,he saw a small man curled in a corner looking very drunk.
"Hey! you get out of here! This is an Imperial installation."
The man looked at him groggily, and then glanced behind Him. Fromer realized at the last instant that this was a trap. He felt something hard hit him in the back of the head through his stormtrooper helmet. The last thing he remebered was seeing two men standing over him holding blasters.

This was probably the easiest prison break he had ever done. Han Solo should have been heavily guarded, but the security at the moment was average at best. Silo Cristas was the best extraction man in this sector. he had hand picked two squads of his best commandos to help break out the greatest smuggler hero of the Rebellion era. This mission should have been the most difficult in his carrer, but it was not.
(This is too easy....) wispered his second in command, Dax Cymo. (It's like the don't even know their holding Han Solo).
(They may not know. If the commander of this base is as stupid as I've heard, we may be in for a very easy day).
Alpha group moved around the corner to the ventilation shaft that would lead them to the prison power station. once they disabled power Bravo group would storm the lower complex and retrieve "the Package." Silo removed the cover to the shaft using his cutting torch and His group slid silently into the darkness.

Why me?
DDD was being carried on a stretcher. The room he was in was dark, cold, and imperial. it seemed like a hallway. To his left and right were men armed with blasters. whispers were shooting back and forth from the people around him, and occasionally blaster fire would erupt in front. He traveled through countless corridors, each one having the same dark interior. DDD drifted from conciousness, unaware that he was being freed from prison. Or that he was Han Solo.

Derris smoothly brought the shuttle around the landing platform. The platform was easily large enough to hold a corvette, so he would have plenty of room to put it down.
'
The pad was floating several hundred meters above the upper levels of Coruscant. A vast walkway connected the platform to a dark blue, octagonal building, which stood a "short" hundred stories at it's highest point. Suprisingly enough, it was dwarfed by the buildings that surrounded it.
'
This was Derris's first time in the Imperial City and he found it hard not to be taken aback by it. He hoped his face wouldn't look that filled with awe when the colonel stepped out of shuttle.
He was the first one to descend out of the shuttle. How strange is it that I beat the white-heads out of the shuttle? wondered Derris. Well, no matter, thought Derris, as dozens of stormtroopers made there way down the ramp.
Swiftly, the stormtroopers seperated into two lines, one on each side leading into the building. Derris quickly made his way to the front of the closer line.
Colonel Vorsk Cerril slowly began walking down the landing ramp. When he made it down, he turned to his left, facing Derris.
Derris fired off a perfect salute, hand just off center of his cap, facing slightly downward, his back ramrod straight.
The colonel casually returned his salute and bid Derris to walk with him.
"I see this is your first time at the Imperial City, Commander," Colonel Cerril said, as they walked together.
"Yes, Colonel, it is." Sithspawn, how did he know?
"Well don't let it get to you. Your reaction is the same as every other being in this galaxy," Cerril said with a grin. "It CAN be a little daunting at first."
Derris sensed something strange as they continued walking. It was almost as if he had heard something, but not quite.
"Colonel, is it usual to be walking in alone? Shouldn't we have an escort of some sort?"
The colonel abruptly stopped as he pondered this.
"No escort. Hm... You are quite right in this respect, Commander. I am sure that we will recieve an explanation once we enter," as they began to walk again.
'
When they made it to the entrance, Cerril turned toward a keypad near the door and typed in the correct code.
Nothing happened.
"That's funny. I know I entered it in right."
He punched in the code again.
Again nothing.
Derris pulled out his blaster and blasted the keypad.
The door hissed open.
"Resourceful thinking, Commander," said Cerril as they entered the building.
Without thinking, Derris threw himself ot top of the colonel as blaster bolts rained down the corridor.

Silo Cristas cautiously looked down the corridor."let's go."
The commandos were now in a tower, about 100 stories tall. They took a non-direct route to their landing pad near the top of the building. The lights were on in the building; the prison ran on a seperate power source.
The commandos moved down the hall swiftly and silently. They eventually reached the 93 floor, where the landing pad was located. But something was wrong.
"Dax, get over here!" whispered Silo. Dax hurried over. "What happened to our ship?" The landing pad was empty.
"Sithspawn. are you sure that this was our landing pad?" said Dax.
"TT9. I'm positive."
"hang on. Something's coming down to land." That was Typho. He was the head of intelligence for the mission. "It looks like an imperial ship."
"they must have towed our ship away to make room for whoever is in that ship."
That was Cymo.
"Well, whatever happened, were in trouble," said Silo. "Typho, can you rig the door? that might delay them a bit." He already had the access panel open, and was cutting wires. Cymo waved the rest of the group back down the corridor. "Try to find something to hide behind." Cymo suited action to words and grabbed a desk on the side of the hall. The desk was there for decoration more than anything else, as seeing as it's drawers were empty. Cymo propped the desk on its side and crouched behind it. Others were doing the same thing. Typho ran back to the others. "that should hold them a little while." A rodian named Gweedo moved in beside Cymo, said something in Rodian that Cymo couldn't understand. "Translator!" He waved a man over who understood Rodian. Before a traslation could be made, the door opened at the end of the hallway. Two Imperial officers stood in the entry way, and one of them said something. The group opened fire.

Darth Tine sat in awe as Da Wookie recounted the tale of his life. How he had once been a senator of the galactic republic representing his home planet of Kashyyyk. He had lived on Coruscant with his family in a large penthouse, large for even Coruscant standards. Life had been good, until the fateful day. He had been vacationing on Balmorra with his family when his world came tumbling down on him. Derris and his father, in an attempt to escape the athorities, detonated the diner that the Wookiee family was in. The subsequent fire had burned Da Wookie's wife and only child alive. He had layed pinned under a large beam, listening to the screams of his family as they had been cooked alive from the outside in, until their blood boiled from the heat, frying their bowels. He had freed himself from the Debris, but it was to late.
When the Imperials came to investigate the fire, they took him as a criminal, and tryed him for arson. He was sent to the prison colony of Kessel to work in the spice mine, where he was beaten and tortured for no reason at all. Da Wookie had worked the mines for almost 7 years before escaping and forming his own pirate group. Now he lived for one purpose, to seek justice on the one who had ruined his life.

The doctor strolled over. "what appears to be the problem?"
"His face is coming off!" exclaimed the man.

He felt only the throbbing of his head.
Everything was strangely serene. It was almost as if there was a cmoplete absence of noise.
His ears were ringing.
As he was attempting to rediscover what happended, his eyes began to focus.
His gaze fell upon many stormtroopers writhing in agony. Many of them were torn into pieces.
Thermal detonator.
Derris began to search through the rubble, looking for Colonol Cerril. After several minutes of searching, he found many buried stormtroopers, stunned but alive. He was unable to find the Colonel.
Out of the corner of his eye, he saw several squads of stormtroopers running his way. One of them began gesturing to his troops, ordering them into position.
His ears were still ringing.
The lead stormtrooper ran toward Derris with several others in tow.
Before he got there, Derris stopped him.
"Don't get any closer! The rebels might have left traps!"
He was suprised when he couldn't hear himself.
The trooper immediately halted. It looked as if he was trying to say something.
Derris's face couldn't conceal his look of puzzelment.
"I can't hear anything! They must have set off a small thermal detonator!" yelled Derris.
Nodding, the stormtrooper directed several of his men to sweep the area for traps.
Guessing his rank, Derris yelled at the stormtrooper captain.
"Captain! Order a level one lock down on this building! Use authorization code HAPLY-195Z! If that code doesn't work, get in contact with your commanding officer and use his! We can't let these rebels escape!"

Colonel Cerril rambled on about the outrage of being captured by Rebels on Imperial Center.
"These Scum do not know who they are messing with! This place will be crawling with stormtroopers looking for me. I am far too valuable to be lost as a prisoner of war."
"Will you just shut up!" Vented DDD, "I'm trying to sleep, and your not helping anything! If you so much as breath another word about the "Rebel Scum" then I'm going to wring your scrawny neck. understand?"
"Well you don't have to be rude about it." said the Colonel in his slightly stuffy Imperial Accent. "I'm just wondering what's going to happen to us. As long as I am not publicly humiliated, I will not fear what the will do to me."
"SHUT UP!" DDD had lost his temper. "o.k. captian Cereal or whatever your name is. I am sick of hearing you blabber about nothing! So if your done I'm going to get some sleep. If your not done, I'd wish I wasn't you."

Dax Kymo grabbed a heavy blaster. There was an alert in the "prison cell." Dax hurried over. Was there an attempted prison break, with imperials in the building? Hopefully not; It was probably something like "Could we have the soup warmed up a bit? It's a tad cold." If it was, that would be the 3rd time this week, and Dax would have to kill somebody. Like a certain Imitation Solo. He arrived at the "Prison," which was actually a very small bedroom. Typho had his men rig the door with a simple security mechanism simply to keep the occupants from escaping. He entered a 4-digit number, deactivating the device. He opened the door, not suprised at what he saw.
Laying on the floor was "Han Solo" and the Colonel. "Solo" had bruises on his face, and his leg was bent at an odd angle. The colonel had blood on his arm and a thouroughly beaten face. Both had very bloody noses.
"This is Dax. Get the doctor here right away."

It was DDD's second time in a bacta tank. He wondered how he had ever gotten into this mess. His whole life was in ruins. He had lost everything he owned, everything he held dear. His ship, the only place he had every known as home, was crashed on some planet. The ship was given to him by his father as a eighteenth birthday present.
(I keep expecting this to be a dream. I'm just going to wake up and none of this happened)
He opened his eyes and saw that he was still suspended in the Bacta. "Sithspit" he said through the gel like liquid. He just wanted to die, to give up and never breath air again. He would pull a blaster, point it at his head and pull the trigger, then he would be at peace.
But that was what Da Wookie wanted, and DDD decided to give Da Wookie no pleasure. He felt a strange calm as he drifted back to sleep.

"What do you think?" asked Dax.
"It's of no concern." replied Silo. "The two will have to get to know each other, that's all. Until then, Expect more prison fights."
Dax stood in silence for a while. He looked at Silo, who was occupied with paperwork. Dax was about to turn and leave, when Silo locked Dax in a stare. Dax tried not to flinch.
"Is there something else....?"
Dax hesitated. "Are we going to leave this planet, or not? If we don't leave soon, the Imperials will find us, and we don't want that."
"And what do you suggest we do?" Silo shot back. "We don't have a ship or enough credits to buy one."
"Well," said Dax, "we steal one."
Silo seemed to ponder that for a moment. "Too risky. we would have to break into a spaceport, find a good ship, and pray like crazy the guards wouldn't catch us."
"It may be all we can do."
Silo glared at him. "there's always another choice."
"Silo, we need to get of of here NOW." relpied Dax.
"Fine." Silo slumped in his chair, finally giving in to dax's demands. "Since this is you're idea, You're planning the mission."
"Yessir."
"Is that all?" Dax knew that was a dismmissal.
"Yes. Sir."
He spun on his heel with a mimickry of Military procedure, but he felt it was a little lacking. He'll worry about that later.

Silo looked out of the view port. It had been years since he had last been in Imperial Center, but last time he was here had been before the rise of the Emperor. The years since then had been filled with darkness. Every day seem a constant battle against evil with casualties mounting after every engagment. It was just a matter of time until this mission turned to a blood bath, because it always did. He or one of his subordinates would be cut down and be left to die a slow and painful death. Silo had seen it many times before and he hated it. He hated every part of the war, the fact that he couldn't be at home with his wife, the fact that he had to kill, the fact that all of his friends from the past were now dead or soon would be.
(At least I still have Dax and Typho with me.)
Speaking of which, where was Typho? He hadn't seen him since they escaped the prison complex. He was probably off doing his inteligence stuff like he always was. Silo decided to dismiss the thought and got back to his paperwork.
**********************
Typho stealthily moved under the shadows by the complex. it wouldn't do to get spotted by some stormies and arrested. Typho knew that Silo hadn't had an escape plan. The only out come was to be captured by the Empire and excecuted. Typho knew that's what they deserved, and that's what he would make sure they got. That Imperial officer Derris sould be around somewhere, and he would make everything in the galaxy right.

Darth Tine was steamed. Da Wookie had let her and her two companions go, and she knew what she had to do. Rage filled her as she thought of how she had been fooled. DDD was nothing but a worthless coward with flimsiplast for a spine. He had not only lied to her, but she had believed him!
(Nobody gets away with that and lives.) She thought to herself.
"Whatcha thinkin 'bout?" asked Morton. They were all on a small transport provided by Da Wookie and were on their way to Imperial Center to find DDD.
"Shut up and fly the ship" replied Tine. "I have enough to worry about without you whining all the time!"
"Well i'm sorrrrrrryyyyy! I was just trying to liven up the conversation! All I asked was what are you thinking about."
Tine knew what she was thinking about now. She was thinking that she wanted to reach out with the force and hurl Morton against a bulkhead.
"Well? I'm waiting for an answer." Said Morton, and he got what he bargained for. with a quick flick of her wrist, morton flew across the cockpit and slammed headfirst into the door. He landed in a pile of flesh and broken teeth.
"What was that!" cried Aims as she burst into the room and nearly slipped over morton's crumpled body. "Oh, man." Aims said as she felt his pulse. She gave Tine the dirtiest look she could manage as she felt Morton's pulse.
"Is he alive?" asked tine in a disinterested voice.
"Yes, he is. I'm going to fix him up."
As Aims helped morton out of the cockpit, Tine stared after them. She knew she was going down the dark path once again, and at this point she didn't really care.

"So, how was your trip to the bacta tank?" said Colonel Cerril, an obvious smirk on his face.
"infinitely better than, yours, I hope." DDD said with a scowl. There was a long pause after that. DDD wondered if the Colonel had finally shut up.
He didn't.
"I do hope my men find me soon." said the colonel. "I'm getting quite tired of you and your friends. maybe I-"
"FRIENDS?!" shouted DDD. "I have no clue who these pirates are!"
A temtatious smile spread on the Colonels face. "How unfortunate for you. I happen to know that these pirates are from the rebellion. When I am free, I'll be sure to lock you in the same cell as them. I'm sure you would like some friends."
"I've got my friends right here." said DDD, raising his fists.
"HA! I wouldn't think you would have the courage to fight me, after what I did to you last time." DDD smacked Cerril with all the strength he could muster. This time the colonel didn't get up.
**********************
"So, It's all set, then?" said Derris.
Typho nodded. "We should be able to get there within a 4 hours."
"Excellent." said Derris. "It would be preferable if you come in the south entrance of the spaceport."
"Consider it done." said Typho.

Da Wookie gasped suddenly. The lightsaber was within inches of his throat. How could he have been so stupid? Of course Darth Tine would come and take her revenge!!! He should have known that she was practically immortal. What a foolish mistake! A mistake he would never make again. He slowly straightend up from the dead body of Derris and turned to face the Sith. "Arrghg ahhh grrr hkmarr garumhhh" (I should have known you would return, scum. Why couldn't you have just let me run my spice ring in peace? But NO! You had to have some of the action! Dirty imperial!)
"Shut your mouth you yapping dog! It's about time I got around to killing you! And once your dead, we'll take the money you made from selling spice to stupid correllians and we will rule the galaxy!!!!" (evil cackle)
Da Wookie was puzzled for a moment. We?
Darth Tine turned with a flourish.
"Behold! My partner in crime!"

(I'm not quite sure what happened there, so forgive me if something doesn't fit)
Morton limped up behind christine. "Now we shall defeat you!" said Morton in the best voice of confidence he could manage.
Da Wookie belted out a wookie laugh.
"Not you, Morton!" scolded Darth Tine. "I meant Aims!"
"Sorry. I was just trying to be one of the 'guys.'" said morton.
"well, you're going to....." Christine never finished the sentence. a violent shudder went through the ship.
Like it had just gone out of hyperspace.
"What was that?" said Morton, sounding more then a little frightened.
"Shut up." said Christine, running to the cockpit. Da wookie and morton followed her. She came to the bridge to find Aims at the controls. "What is it?" inquired Darth Tine.
"Imperials," replied Aims.
Darth Tine glared at the ships. There were 5 imperial cruisers before them; A dreadnaught, 2 Carrack light cruisers, an interdictor, and last but not least, an Imperial Star Destroyer.
Instant death.
But DT noticed something strange about the whole scene. "What are they shooting at?" Tine inquired.
"I don't know."
They all watched for a while. The Star Destroyer seemed to be fighting by itself against the other ships. The ship shuddered again as it began to involuntarily move towards the Star Destroyers hangar bay. That could only mean one thing.
Tractor beams.
"I think," said DT, "we're in trouble."

Dax was packing all of their supplies in the packs when Typho came back into the apartment that had been converted into their temporary base.
"Where in blazes have YOU been? asked Dax in that voice he got when he was stressed.
"whoa, slow down killer. I got seperated from the scout team Silo sent to the government center." Typho was acting very suspitious, but Dax couldn't place it.
"Well, help me get the prisoners restrained for the trip home." Daxdn't worry about it to much. Typho was always a little strange.
******************************
After the last fight both DDD and the colonel were restained to their beds. He was trying to crack the age old problem of how much of a good thing was a bad thing, when the door opened and Typho came into the room.
"I haven't seen you before. you must be the new guy." That comment earned DDD a shot in the gut. He realed as Typho spoke.
"Get up! We're taking you out of here."
DDD and the colonel stood up and waited as the rebel fitted them with wrist binders. DDD grimaced as Typho affixed the binders to his wrists a little to tight. he watched as the colonel got his pair and looked in suprise as he noted that those binders weren't fully lock. Typho gave the Colonel a knowing look and led them out of the room.
********************************
Silo looked up from his charts as someone knocked on the door.
"Check that out." he ordered Typho.
"Who is it?"
"Room service." came the muffled voice from behind the door. strangly enough the door made the persons voice sound like that of a stormtrooper.
Everyone sprang to their feet, drawing their blasters. Silo looked around the room. there was no where to hide except behind the desk he was at or down the hall. If these were stormtroopers then this wouldn't be a firefight, it would be a bloodbath. As the small rebel group of about 8 commandos readied themselves, Dax opened the door.
"Oh My!" Screamed the Golden Droid behind the door. It was a late model 3PO droid similar to C3PO.
There was a collective sigh of relief as the Rebels realized that it was actually room service.
Da Wookie posted 6/24/04 4:33 AM
Typho was growing impatient with the Rebels. He knew that if he didn't deliver the rebels to Derris, then he would not make it off of this planet alive. The bounty he would collect would ensure his swift retreat. Now he just had to convince the other to get up and leave.
"...Well, If we can't get out quitle then we might as well take the path of least resistence" Dax was finishing. "if we hit the spaceport fast and hard then we might have a chance of getting out in one piece."
"I don't like this idea, but I don't have a better one to offer at the moment" added Silo. He looked worried and fatigued; it looked like this mission was going to be to much for him. "When will we be ready to make our escape?"
"Soon I hope" Chimed in Typho. The more control he could get the better.
"I think we could get out in 7 hours if we do it right." Dax commented
"The Imperial Guards will not let a ragtag group of scum through. The would sooner spend a year in the heart of a sun than to betray the Emperor by..." Colonel Cerril was quickly dropped to the floor by DDD.
"Thanks." everyone breathed in unison.

"Commander, take two squads of men and fortify the southern entrance, but make it look inviting." Derris was barking commands to the Stormtrooper like one might to a pet.
"And what of the rebel traitor, sir?"
"The homing device I planted on him should tell us if he is faithful. Put another squad on standby near their current position. If he chooses to go back on his promise, we can still get what we want. Have all troops wait for my signal to attack."
This day would be his day. If he could capture a band of rebel commandos that pierced the heart of Imperial Center, then he would most definitly be noticed by his superiors and promoted. 'Colonel Derris' had a nice ring to it and he hoped to hear that ring by the end of the day.
Derris posted 6/25/04 5:12 AM
Derris turned to his coomand transport, but stopped when his eyes fell upon a strange building.
With his right hand, he motioned the Stormtrooper Colonel over.
"Colonel, what is that thing?" He said, pointing toward 100-story building that appeared to be moving.
"Oh, that? Well, Colonel Derris, that would be a construction droid. They are all over this city, tearing down abandoned buildings and replacing them with new ones."
"Ah! I see! And does the governmental district have a lot of abandoned buildings? Because that is where that thing is headed."
The stormtrooper colonel grimaced.
"I don't righly know, colonel, but I wi..."
He was drowned out by the noise of a antiquated Z-95 that streaked over their heads.
"Uhhmmhm, as I was saying, I will raise the sector headquartes and find out."
"Thank you, and also, alert the proper authorities about the pile of bantha fooder that just flew over us."
