why didn't star wars end when the republic and the empire made peace. That's what star wars always was to me, the war between those too forces i meant that was why it was called star "wars" yeah? And i mean i know now they are stil at war but it isn't the same is it?? SDo you think they were right to carry it on? Or whould they have left it there... |

I agree that the Empire was the only Bad guy the rebels needed, but I do like the fact that it didn't stop. they need to introduce some fresh ideas because you can only have han crash the falcon so many times before it starts to get old. In The New Jedi Order we get to see a new pile of jedi learn what its like to fight a strange enemy using the force. it build up characters like the solo kids and all of the related jedi. of course they blew it by killing off chewy in the first one! I can't believe it! |

I haven't read those yet. I'm still on the X-wing series :( But from what I've heard, The New Republic and the "Vong" are going to kill each other, then the empire's going to reclaim the crown. It's plainly obvious. |

I was reading Star Wars Insider last night and it said that originally the New Jedi Order authors had thought about killing off Luke instead of Chewbacca. Would the NJO still be the same if the killed the head of the jedi instead of the coolest character? |

I think they should have killed Luke. An important character has to die SOMETIME. |
