(I'm going to edit some things from tine's last post 'cause it didn't make any sense.) Darth Tine knew that people were going to die in the upcoming space battle; she almost felt sorry for the imperials she was going to kill here. Now the only problem was deciding which ship to attack first. She piloted her ship towards the fray and began to slip into the embrace of the force. She gave in to her hatred for the Imperials, for what the had done to her, and felt the darkness overtake her. She could feel the power that lay within her grasp. Darth Tine's old master had warned her of the dangers of the dark side, but the were paralized by their fear. The weakness they had tried to instill into her had only been an attempt to deny the true power of the force. Palpatine had shown her the true way, the way of power. She owed him everything, but she had been betrayed by one of her own kind. Mara Jade came and stole her life away, taking her place as a hand of Palpatine. The Empire banished her, claiming she was of no more use to them and send her away without so much as a credit to her name.
She behind her and saw her shipmates lying on the deck, knocked out or dead, she did not know, but she did not that she was would take care of everything. The Imperial Mark II class Star Destroyed "Revenger" filled her viewports. With her rage of vengence, and the power of the dark side coursing through her veins, Darth Tine opened fire on the most recent addition to her list of enemies.
Derris posted 7/7/04 7:06 PM
Admiral Teradoc stood behind the center viewport on the bridge of the Revenger, as he surveyed the might of his command.
He was not suprised when the Revenger's captain approached from behind.
Without turning, Teradoc asked, "What do you have to report, Captain?"
"Sir, Intelligence has identified that ship and discovered that Tine, the former servant of the Emperor, is indeed aboard."
A sly grin spread across Teradoc's face.
"Excellent." He said as he looked out the viewport. He could faintly see the ship without magnification. "What course of action do you suppose she will take, Captain?"
Captain Nehla Werforth grimaced at being put on the spot.
"I do not have an evaluation, sir. But if I might make a guess, I would say that she would make a run to hyperspace."
Teradoc nodded and said, "We'll shall see in a few moments, Captain Werforth."
After several moments, bursts of turbolaser fire shot across the bow of the Destroyer.
"It seems that you were incorrect, Captain," Teradoc said with a wicked smile. "No matter. This is only for the better."
He turned to Werforth and with a gleam in his eye, gave his orders.
"Captain! Send the message to group 1! They are to proceed to these exact coordinates without delay!" he said as he handed over a datapad with a set of coordiantes.
Teradoc returned to the viewport. After several minutes, there was a stir of movement out in the void.
Two aging Victory-class Star Destroyers
and gleaming white Interdictor cruiser dropped from Hyperspace right behind Darth Tine's ship.
A smile blossomed on Teradoc's face.
"Now she is mine!"

"where are we going now?" groaned DDD.
"Somewhere," said Dax Cymo.
"Wow, so informative."
It was getting to the late hours on Imperial Center, with night approaching quickly. The rebels, imperial officer, and DDD were all dressed in civilians clothes, strutting along the street just like everyone else did at night in this part of the city.
"There's it is." said Silo Cristas. The spaceport looked very fancy; but almost everything did around here.
Silo stopped in front a store selling Macrobinoculars, and everyone followed suit. The featured item in the store seemed to be imported Macro-Binoculars from a planet called Milyasst. DDD had never heard of the planet before. Silo pretended to be interested in the products while he went over the plans with the other rebels, away from Cerrill and DDD.
"All right, here's the plan. We come in through the north entrance and sneak are way over to this point, which should be the loaction of the spacecraft that Typho found for us. Cymo and Grulak" he motioned toward the Rodian,"I want you to get in the ship and see if you can get it started. Everyone else, lay low and try not to be spotted. any questions?"
Typho chimed in immediatly. "Wouldn't it be smarter to come in the south entrance? The walking distance would be cut in half, and we wouldn't have as much chance of being spotted."
"true," responded Silo, "but if there were to be an ambush, that's were they would be waiting. I don't trust or imperial "friend" enough to risk being caught." He motioned towards The colonel, and was suprised to see DDD and Cerrill both looking at macrobinoculars, apperantly interested enough that they weren't fighting.
"We'd better get moving." said cymo.
With that, they all set off for the spaceport.

As DDD attempted to listen in on the conversation occuring behind him, He looked at a glistening pair of Binocs produced by Siriona Corporation. His attention was held as the light in the display case gleamed along the highly polished contours of the device. As he read the sales tag, He realized how much he actually could use one of those.

DDD realized his mouth was hanging open. This was perhaps the most beautiful piece of equipment he had seen in his many years. After many failed attempts to take his eyes off of the Macrobinoculars, He just stared into the reflective lenses. (This is going to be the first thing I by for my new ship once I get out of here) he thought. Suddenly DDD noticed the reflection of a stormtrooper looking back at him.
**************
"Let's see some Identification." The Stormtrooper ordered Silo. All of the Rebels looked at each other and Silo responded, "I seemed to have forgotten mine somewhere."
As the Trooper questioned the rebel leader, DDD noticed Typho share a nowing look with the Colonel. He was only slightly shocked to see Cerril slip his hand from the binders and start to motion for the Imperial trooper. DDD knew this was his only chance to get out of here alive, so he took it.
In a flash of flesh and clothing, he pushed Typho to the ground and, hands still bound, took off around the corner alley.

Hours Later

A shot to the kindeys sent Silo to the ground.
Legs clad in white armor started to kick his head and upper body.
With a groan, Silo spat out blood and pushed himself onto his knees. He was greeted blinding light. The light only went several feet before it vanished into total darkness.
Two powerful arms grabbed him from each side and hoisted him up.
"Once again. Who are you and what is your mission?" asked a Malevolent voice out of the darkness.
"I... I don't know what you're talking about! My name is Zenra Uther from Corulag. I don't have a..."
A fist connected firmly with Silo's diaphragm, unleashing every ounce of oxygen he had.
Silo sank to the floor and gasped for air. I felt as if someone had reached in and popped his lungs.
Again the arms yanked him off the floor.
"Foolish rebel. Can you not see that your resistance is useless? It will only be a matter of time before we extract from you the information we need. Can you not see that it is... Inevitable? Indeed. For you see? We have already won!" the voice said with a hint of laughter.
"I won't be broken." replied Silo, but he heard the emptiness of his words. "I won't give you the satisfaction!"
But his words were drowned out by the hum of what could only be an Imperial torture droid.
(continued by me tommorow)

Silo was drowning in a sea of Delirium that was his mind. Try as he must, He couldn't focus on even the most trivial thing.
Except for one.
The Imperials broke him. Silo knew it in his heart, even if his mind didn't.
The Imps now knew everything. His squad's mission. The phony Han Solo. The kidnapping of a high-ranking officer. The secret mission that only he and Dax knew.
Rogue Squadron's intrusion into Coruscant. The plan for the liberaton of Coruscant.
The Liberation of Coruscant, thought Silo, jolting his mind into responsiveness.
All this critical information, resting in the head and datapad of that Imperial Intelligence officer.
It was over. The Alliance lost.
Silo looked for something, anything sharp enough or hard enough to end it all, but there was nothing to be found.
All hope had left him, when suddenly from somewhere out side the darkness, Silo heard the sound of a blaster discharging.
Presently, a door opened into the room, letting the light pierce the darkness.
Blinking and squinting, Silo noticed six figures standing just outside the door.
"Well, well. It's about time you decided to join this party, Silo! We thought you'd run off and gotten yourself hitched to some bright-eyed Twilek girl! My, Oh my. You sure are the king when it comes to Disappointing your men!" one of the figures said. Silo could faintly see a smile that stretched from ear to ear.
A smile broke onto Silo's parched lips.
"I'd kiss a sith if it isn't great to see you guys!"
Derris posted 7/21/04 8:50 PM
Dax and one of the others hepled silo on to his feet. He could barely stand up.
"You don't look good, sir. The imps must have worked you over pretty well." said Dax.
Silo nodded as he tried to keep his head from spinning.
"The mission is compromised. The Intel guy who interrogated me would be long gone by now." sighed Silo.
"Ah, well, don't worry about that, sir."
"Why shouldn't I?"
"Jedler got him with his stolen E11." Dax said pointing toward a large man with a smile on his face.
"Sir, I don't understand it. I've always heard that the E11 was worthless. But after a couple of shots, I love this thing! Head shot to a stormtrooper. Well-placed groin shot to an officer. This thing does everything I ask it to! Clearly the stormies we faced weren't quite up to normal Imperial standards."
Silo sighed.
"Okay then. We are back in business. But tell me first. How did you guys escape?" he said.
The smile on Calo Jedler's face disappeared.
"Well, you see, there was this prison droid. And for his whole life he wanted to be an assasin droid, but nobody would ever give him the reprogamming that he so desperately desired. So when the droid came in to check on us, I could tell that he was down. So I asked him what was wrong. After he told me his life story, He begged me to end his life. Now you know how I am about euthanizing any form of life, so naturally I said no. But he begged and begged and when I saw the despair in his eyes, I had to do it. So with his last few seconds of life, he thanked me and gave me the keys to the cell. I'm going to miss the guy," said Jedler with a sniff.
Silo gave Jelder a patronizing look and turned to Irdi Frevian.
"The droid tripped on a power conduit and crashed into a power relay. The whole grid went down. It was hiarious." she said.
The smile on Jedler's faced returned fully.

How could she be so stupid? Darth Tine knew it had been a mistake to attack the Imperial Star Destroyer, even with its attention divided with the small group of traitor ships it was entangled with. As always, she had tried to do everything by herself and allowed the darkside to take her, but it always ended up the same. Now her ship floated aimlessly among the debris that had once been the fleet of Captain Arrande, the wanna-be warlord who had just left the battlefield in his personal ship.
(a dreadnaught, 2 carracks, an inderdictor, a bunch of tie fighters and one no name freighter versus an Imperial Star Destroyer. How dumb could I be to think I could actually win.)
On well placed turbolaser shot had fried most of the systems and now the drifted out of control with the star destroyer still in the area to pick them up. Tine realized her failure and suddenly felt an overwelming feeling of grief. She had let Da Wookie down, she had very nearly killed all of the people she called friends, and she did it all for herself. As she thought about how selfish and pathetic her life had been, she began to sob. The tears kept flowing as she drew her blaster and pointed it at her temple. she could feel the cool muzzle against her skin and felt the trigger slowly tightening in her finger.
"Are you sure you wanna do that." Even through her teary eyes she could make out the form of Morton the stormtrooper looking at her from the comm stations chair.
"Just leave me alone, Morton."
"It looks like you already left yourself alone a long time ago." He said in that annoying voice.
"What do you know about my life?!! NOTHING!! So Stay Out!" She suprised herself with the tone of her voice.
"All I know is that you're the girl sitting on the floor with a blaster to the side of your head. Now if that doesn't mean you think your alone, then I'm not as observant as I thought."
"You don't understand, morton. I let everyone down. I almost killed all of us."
"But you didn't... well almost. The only thing that matters is that your the only person who can get us out of hear. now are you gonna just sit there or are you gonna get up and save yourself."
She stood and walked over to the stormtrooper. "Thank you Morton." and with that she kissed him on the cheek.
"Well, I called some friends and they should be here in the next 30 minutes."

DDD felt almost lucky. After wandering the streets of Imperial Center for 5 days, DDD just "happened" to find 800 credits in the pocket of a local Buisness owner, and 1500 in the pocket of another, before being caught by the third. He did manage to get another 350 from him, but right now he was more worried about his life. The Buisnessman himself was overly plump, but his bodyguard was relativly good physical condition. DDD darted past a bunch of prominent looking humans, and ducked into a crowd of passer-bys. He slowly worked his way to the local spaceport, where he would find public transportation of the planet. He was constantly weary of the body guard who was hunting him; DDD might eventually lose him, but as of right now, the bodyguard was still following him.
DDD's lungs burned from running so long. He was almost at the spaceport now, and as he was running something on the left had caught his eye: the macrobinocular shop they had been looking at when the rebels had been caught by the imps. He ducked inside, hoping the bodyguard didn't notice him. Anyway, the sign out front said "No salespersons, No weapons, and absolutly NO ALIENS!" The body guard had to have been armed; he was a bodygueard after all. A body guard without a weapon is like a Tie Fighter without Blasters: Useless. DDD took his time in the shop looking over the Imported Milyasst Macrobinoculars. DDD had just found his life business. He had lost track of the time; He just studied the Macrobinoculars with awe. He noted the two best brands were Magnon and Welless Inc. He bought a DataPad and a few data cards and started writing down everything about every brand and model. DDD would become very rich soon, assuming he could get a ship. As DDD left the Shop and walked to the spaceport, He decided on a name for his company. "Macro-tech"
As DDD felt inner joy, he was caught face to face with his body guard friend.
Dark Death Dude posted 7/30/04 5:16 PM
"Hey you...." bodyguard-man shouted. DDD was quick to react.
With a shot to his gut. As the Bodyguard reeled from the blow, DDD Ran as fast as he could The crowds were to sparce to just hide within them, so DDD went into a local Cafe. It was a ritzy place, so DDD just ordered a Diluzian Ale from Balmorra. DDD considered buying the Sullustian Incinerator, but that sounded a bit harsh. He went over to a table occupied by 3 Humans, with 5 spectators around it. They were playing a game DDD had never seen before, but he was determined to learn.
"whatcha playing?"he inquired.
The spectator next to him glanced over and said, "Pazaak. Care to play me in a match?"
"Um.... I don't know how to play."
"That's Ok." Said the man. "I'll teach you. You need to buy a deck, though. I'll sell you my starter deck for 50 credits."
"A deal!" said DDD.
**********************
After he learned how to play, which didn't take very long, he started a game.
"I'll bet 50 credits." said DDD. The opponent matched.
DDD's hand consisted of a +4, +1, +2, +5. His first card was a 6, his opponent had a 9. They each took two more cards, wich left DDD at 15 and the other at 22. His Opponent played a -2, putting him at 20. DDD played his +5, leaving him at 20. "Looks like a tie." Said the opponent."Again?"
DDD tosed in his credits.
***************************
1 hour and 3 drinks later,DDD was down 70 credits. "I'm done." Said DDD.
"Good. Luck is no substitute for skill in Pazaak." He said.
DDD left the table, seeking someone to buy more cards from. He found a dealer Selling a -2, -4, and a +/-6. DDD bought all of them for 100 credits. He left the cafe and went to the spaceport, keeping his eye out for the bodyguard, but he didn't see him. DDD was almost to the spaceport, when he saw an oppurtunity. A spaceliner had landed, and the crowds were beginning to exit the spaceport. Standing outside the entrance was a short, stout businessman talking on his comlink. DDD meshed in with the crowd leaving the spaceport and made his way towards the businessman. He approached from behind, reached into his pocket, quickly grabbed whatever he could find, and kept on walking. The Buisnessman noticed it, however, and started looking for the theif, but DDD disappeared into the crowd, 15000 credits richer.

Derris was having a hard time keeping his temper under control.
"You were unable to keep a ragtag group of rebel bandits in custody for more than a few hours?"
The man Derris was talking to was a very fat major with remnants of several past meals still staining the front of his grey uniform. How a man like this could even be stationed on Imperial Center was beyond Derris.
"Well," Major Relgim began, "There were a lot of rebels, and I..."
He was cut off by Derris. "According to my reports, some of your men simply ran at the sight of the rebels, just to be stunned in the back."
"Well at least the weren't seriously injured" Relgim said with a nervous look at the four Stormtroopers guarding the entrance to the small office.
That comment brought Derris' fist down on the table, causing a resounding thud. "You are a disgrace to the Empire!" Derris yelled, his other fist clenching tighter by the moment. "Were the Emperor still alive, we wouldn't have to deal with this sort of incompetence."
"Trust me," the major said as he began to sweat visably. "It WON'T happen a gain."
"On that count, Major, you are right." Derris reached into his tunic and produced his blaster. He pointed it at Relgim's head and pulled the trigger. The corpse slumped back in the chair with a hole smoking in the center of his face.
"Bring me the Traitor Typho," Derris said as he casually tucked his blaster back in place. "And clean up that mess.

Silo's heart was beating rapidly as he and his squad raced through the elevated walkways of Coruscant.
Blaster fire rained around them as they ran from a platoon of stormtroopers.
Well, Jedler was right, thought Silo. Stormies really can't shoot.
"Everyone be careful!" warned Silo. "All they need is one lucky shot to take one of us down!"
"Sir! I respectfully disagree, sir! No lucky shot would do it, sir! No sir! It would take a miracle, sir!" replied Jedler breathlessly as they ran.
"Dax!" Silo yelled.
"Captain!" replied Dax as he angled over.
"You have new orders! Your objective is to get Jedler to shut up! If you can do it within the next few days, I'll promote you to General and give you 150 days of R&R!"
"Sounds good to me, Captain!"
"Right. Get to it! Where's demolitions?"
"Over here, Captain!" replied the Twi'lek Nesilra from the far right side of the squad.
"I think it's time to lose our followers! What are you packing?" asked Silo.
"You name it, sir! That place was filled with all sorts of great toys!"
"Good. Get something set up. Alright everyone! In three seconds, we stop! Turn around! And provide covering fire! Three, Two, One, Covering Fire!"
The squad abruptly came to a halt and unleashed a fury of blaster fire on the pursing stormtroopers, catching them complelely of guard.
"Hurry up! We can't hold them for long! There's to many of them!" yelled Silo.
"Alright, got it! We've got seven seconds!" cried Nesilra as he placed a timed detonater on the walkway.
"Everyone, move, move, move!" cried Silo as he began running.
They were already at the end of the walkway and it opened in a small plaza filled with boutique stores.
The squad dashed into the plaza and found cover just as the detonater went off.
The explosion was smaller than Silo expected but it did it's job. Minor pieces of debris flew into the plaza and smoke followed immdeiately after. Silo was suprised to see the walkway still intact.
"Okay, everyone take a breather. Irdi, watch the walkway. Crajik, you cover that exit to my left. Dax, We talk."
"What about me, sir?" asked Jedler with a sloppy grin on his face.
"You? You can shut up for starters."
Jedler's grin got even bigger.

DDD walked into the cargo-hold, and took note of the cargo space and any inconveniantly located acess panels. He wrote it all down on his new Datapad. The Cabin in this freighter was overall larger than the last one, but the Navigation systems in this were.... well..... crap.
But DDD could always upgrade. He had 20,000-some credits, and planned to use them wisely. He went to another ship and began taking down notes that might be useful in purchasing it. DDD wasn't going to buy a bum ship.

Colonel Cerril was sitting in the cantina, celebratimg his heroic escape from the clutches of the rebel infiltrators. Now on his eighth round of Correllian Wiskey, He was recounting the tale to the disinterested bar-tender.
"An' as they came at me with a legion of troopers...." He said in that slurred voice only some drunk can manage. "I managed to figh' them off with both my hands in restraining cuffs. It was a great fight, but I wish you could have been there to see it yourselfff"
"Yeah, right, 'colonel'" said the human barkeep. "Why don't you run home before I call security. You've been here for six hours straight."
"I'LL LEAVE WHEN I'M READY!" Screamed the colonel, as he stood straight up in his chair, knocking it over onto a table occcupied by a single human.
"Hey watch it Buddy!" cried the burly man.
"Heyy!!!" Cried Cerril. "It's one of those rebels!"
"What are you taking about?" said the man,
"Your that one they locked in the cell with me! I'mm gonna show you who the real hero is"
With that Cerril tackled the complete stranger and start beating his face into the table.
*****************
In the back of the Imperial Transport, there was stony silence as the squad of stormtroopers "escorted" the colonel back to the barracks. now mostly sober, the colonel realized that he had actually attacked one of the many undercover Imperial agents in that sector of the city.
"How was I supposed to know that he wasn't a rebel," he said to no one in particular. "The all look like rebels around there."
At least there weren't very many superiours to express their displeasure with him.
