I would love to hear your reasons for choosing Asheville as your home. I am considering a major move and Asheville is in the top 3 choices. I am a single mom with a 5 year old son. I am looking for a home to rent and a warm community to raise my son. I am a writer and an artist. I am currently a life long resident of Wisconsin, and have had some major life changes and want a fresh start in a beautiful peaceful accepting community. Is this Asheville?? |

Asheville is a terrible place to live. Cost of living is exorbitant, rent is steep,there is a housing shortage, its become a boom town. air pollution is at an all time high. Mold and dustmites infest most of the home. traffic is terrible. Don't dare drink the water. the locals are unfriendly, inbred, and redneck. I know because I was born here. DO NOT COME TO ASHEVILLE. |
