Fuey	posted 4/20/05 12:00 AM     Somehow Buff losing his paddles does not surprise me. speaking of nasty paddles the two best in history were 1.) Buddha's paddle for "M" - that thing was perfect 2.) Buff's paddle for Heath was fantastic - although Tog's guitar for Bento was was a close 3rd and pretty sweet in design and originality

Jonesy	posted 5/1/05 1:26 AM       My class probably made the worst paddles I've ever seen. We were lazy so we had that tech school cut them for us. They used 1" X 4" pine. They made the simplest paddle. Nothing but a few 90 degree cuts. The brothers were fed up with our slacking so they had us paint our paddles in the basement as an activity. We only had a few hours to work on them. They provided the paint. All they had was left-over garnet and white from trips to the rock. Our paddles looked like shit. I had these dreams of making a cool paddle with various pot symbols and a built in bowl (I thought it would be appropriate considering who my big brother is). But, it didn't work out. I didn't want to make another paddle because I always thought of it as a one time shot. The one Buddha made for M was the best I ever saw. I will have to search my parent's basement to see what I have. I think only one out of two little brothers gave me a paddle.

Boy was the Tog-ness pissed about that one... wonder if those guys ever replaced that soldering iron for him. Let us never forget that the Spork provided us with the now infamous Soggy Waffles

I brought them into the paddle room, when out of no where, my 9 year old brother (at the time) picks up the spork and says "what is this piece of crap supposed to be, a shovel?" and starts running around the room with it acting like he was digging. There were a few brothers there to witness it, and I thought they were going to piss their pants...

Well on tape our bartender for the evening, Gomez, picks the spork up and says "To all future pledge classes don't make something this shitty." Soggy Waffles was so upset. I was howling when I saw that...I think that is also the same tape where Emilio put the ice cube down that chick's cleavage, and the night where big Smilin' Tom Riley's girlfriend was all pissed when he passed out at 11pm and she was screaming "I wanna fuck! And he's passed out!"

He disappeared into the fog in about 10 seconds, and then he came like 5 minutes later when he realized no one cared. I had ring side seats from the balcony where I was 2 fisted with Guinness and smoking a Cuban cigar I had left over from a shady Montreal trip with Manny, Prisilla (how the fuck do you spell that?) and Martinez

Has to be in the Phi omega Chi top ten, as does the milhouse picture, margarita paddle from stooley. Its okay to give yourself a shout out JR that paddle is dope. It sits near my bed waiting for the day I get a burgaler or when I need to haze Vic.
Fuey	posted 12/1/05 8:20 PM     The paddle I made pry was not the coolest but had to be the tallest in history. it was no joke like 3 feet long. I kind of misunderstood the assignment. He said he liked it but I have my doubts. I felt like crap when I saw Tog and Buff's paddles. Although seeing the paddle crawford used from the left over phi class paddles for Solo made me feel a lot better.
