I just purchaced 4 new koi yestewr from pet smart. I put them in a small pond with 5 other goldish. The pont is 4 feet by 4 4 and a half feet and 3 feet deep. Do you think this is big enought. Also, call me stupid for this, but, well, let me first say, I love fishing for carp. When these koi get big in a few years i'll release them into a local lake. Along with the goldfish. Also, i'm totally new raising koi. And i'm exited about it. I dont live with my grandparents and I dont have a pond at my house. So what I have to do untill I get koi food is i'll tell my grandparents to go out to the pond at least every other day and feed them bread or wheat thins or something. Do you think thats good enought? Also one koi is silver and scalless, do you have any clue what it is?
